After we saw you two walking past us on the lawn we found one of your fins on the grass just past us. I was meaning to save it so I could punch a hole and zip-tie it back on next year, but it got away. The crowd was just a bit too enthusiatic upon coming across a real cardboard shark fin I guess.

The "Buffett Curse" tried to bring us down again. My friends brand new 2010 Ford Exploder died on 75 and he limped it into Joes where we were all meeting before the show. My boss kept me at work way later than he was suppose to.

so......we didnt have our Flip Cup/ food table or our grill. After eating we didnt make it to the lot until 445. Yeah way to that and got stuck in the back of the grass lot with hardly any room to tailgate, didnt even set anything up.

However it was a great show, knew Bret was coming out when we saw his bus pull up. LOL

Didnt meet up with anyone but did see Gumbo who was in front of us on the lawn. I yelled out but you couldnt hear me. Hahaha

until next year............Hopefully

I was so glad I got to meet some of you! OMiTT, chippewa, Nutmeg, Big Phan, Caly, GumboPirate, Coconuts, 007Parrothead...am I forgetting anyone? Thanks for the shots of Rum Jumbie & the pirate flag charm and for fixing my sharksuit and just for being so friendly and welcoming! I'm disappointed I didn't get to try out the shotski...maybe next time!

It was also great to see some of you again that I've met before! MsOver40Pirate & fam, & Captain Morgan & friends.

All in all a great show...hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!
Can't believe I missed you Landshark Girl. :-? I too chatted up with & hung a bit with the fine group of pholks you mentioned (except I didn't meet Nutmeg).
Guess I just didn't stay in 1 place long enough to see you come walking through!
Nonetheless, glad you enjoyed your visit. Maybe I'll meet you at a venue down the road sometime. Too bad you didn't make the Park N Ride. Maybe next time!
Don't know how we missed each other. :o We were actually around for a while this time :P :P

Tom and I shared one of the Jumbie shots, ate fajitas with the group and passed out brownies, mango and key lime bars (slightly melted  ) And I did pass out pirate charms to some of the BNers there. Saw Coconuts (with her toilet paper) and got to get some pictures of Landshark girl. Chatted with Caly and found out that Big Phan isn't big. However we never ran into Kevin while we were there. We had great seats with some elderly people who sat throughout the concert right in front of us so we had a super view. :P We really enjoyed Pine Knob and I think Jimmy did too. I think he gets kinda nostalgic for some of the "old venues" like Pine Know that are a little mroe intimate that most of the places he plays now.

I think she surprised a few people.

I only have a few pictures, which may or may not get online this weekend. :-?
Next year planning on setting up on the island and getting off that scorching hot parking lot.

Ahhhh, I love Pine Knob! To me it's more laid back than some other venues.

GumboPirate - Don't know how I missed you, but I did the shot ski with Caly. :-? BTW, thanks for that! :D

Landshark Girl - Your shark suit is adorable! Nice to meet you and your friend. Not only is Big Phan not as big as you expected, Big Phan isn't a guy!

Nutmeg & Mr. Nutmeg - Thanks for the charm! It will go on my lanyard. If you get a chance, try her mango and key lime bars...mmmmm!

I had a great time and it was icing on the cake to see so many familiar faces...OMiTT & wife, Capt. Morgan, Coconuts & CaSe SeNsItIvE, Marty & Moe, caly (paper girl  ) & Gary, Dr. Corona, the Jackson crew, and of course our hosts, chippewa & Carol.

Please, Jimmy, come back to Pine Knob next year. :D

Oh, and Bret Michaels for Margaritaville?! Nice addition. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
