I know Flipper told me last night that "PHINS" & 12 Volt Band are working on playing a pre-party... More to come on this..

The Boat Drunks are also working on playing a party at Harrah's after the show...

As far as The Boat Drunks post-party at Voodoo, I have been told to "pencil it in"! Will keep everyone posted...

Got my rooms book for Harrahs. Arriving Wednesday night. Concert Thursday. Boat Drunks after. Then moving downtown to the Crowne Plaza Friday night. Hitting the Cardinal game on Friday night! Going to be a fun weekend.

Hope PHINS is able to put something together before the show. Hitting Flipperstock in early April. Always a great time there.

I haven't heard about a password and you and i are the only ones asking. Did Ticketmaster do away with that? We can't make Frisco this year (damn!)becuase the keet is graduating. We'll hit St. Louis and hope its got a good tailgate. Any info is appreciated. We have the Parrothead University RV. there's a great team that rounds up everything for the fun-raising in frisco, but this will be my first STL show. Is there a similar routine there?

I have looked at other threads for tickets that have already gone on sale and there is no mention of a password. So, I guess it will be a wait and see thing. If anyelse has info on this I would appreciate it.

Not sure about the tailgating here, like Mr. Play and those folks put on in Frisco. The year of still here stop in St. Louis, it rain much of the day. I was in Harrahs most of the day getting started, went out to the lots around 2 and there seemed to be some tailgating going on.

I would talk to someone with the STL (or surrounding towns) Parrothead clubs. I am sure they are planning something.

Will be there with OldTrougher. Have been at Cincy Buffett the last two years, so I hope the tailgating at St. Louis doesn't dissapoint!!

Tailgating at this venue isn't good.

They will let you kinda hang out and drink, and whatever, but no cooking, and they frown on what they call "semi-permanent" structures. You can usually get away with alot more than you think, but it kinda stinks because you can't plan on it.

Do you remember what time they opened the gates in '08? I know it was earlier than they said they would. We pre-partied at Harrahs, but if the rain holds off this time, we'd rather hang out in the parking lot.

There will be a bunch of us from the KC Parrothead club coming. We'll have plenty of jello shots like last time!

Joetown - we met at Flipperstock last year when you had the "Rockstar" table for Mac!

The STINKS! Yes, we expect a frisco style tailgate at every venue. Heard no tailgate area even available at Nashville. Don't know what we'll do. gotta make decisions soon because tickets go on sale in a few days.

That sounds great!! So the club is leaning towards this instead of the pre-party and bus at Harrah's?? The KC club could probably help you out if you need it.

Boat Drunks sent a message and they were told to pencil in VooDoo for the after party show.... In 08 we had a nice tail gate, No Grills but the Cops were nice enough about everything. We brought a lot of Cold Foods, Shrimp CockTails, Chips & Dips, Fruit Trays, and a lot of Boat Drinks... I think they opened the lots last time around 2pm.. We will be at Harrah's Wednesday mid-afternoon to start pre-partying for Thursday...

It's all still up in the air, but most of us seem to be leaning towards the tailgate direction. Thanks for the offer, we may just take you up on it.

Alright!! Just looked at the calendar...this show is just ten short weeks away from today!

the snowbanks in my yard here in Wisco should be melted by then (hopefully...)

and it looks like I will be in town yet Fri night for the STL/cincy game too...
this is shaping up to be a fun road trip!
