I don't believe anything Ophicial but I did see a post, maybe 2, about going over to the HArd Rock Casino. Mau & I are up for that. I'll look at what else PH related is going on.

yup - that's the plan as of right now - unless someone comes up with something better pool and dranking time in the afternoon and gambling, dranking and eating at night

After working everything out with my boss I WILL be able to attend after all!!!! Will be getting into Tampa around 2pm on Friday. Cant wait to see old friends and some new ones!!!

Yes, I would estimate the walk being not much more than 5 minutes, not taking into account how much tailgate accessories are in tow.

We're staying at the Comfort Suites just a little ways down the road. We're driving down from SC tomorrow so if we get in early enough, we'll definitely wander down to LQ to see if we can find anyone poolside. Not sure what we'll be doing Friday night....not too into the gambling scene but may go to Hard Rock just to see folks, if that's where everyone plans to be. Maybe something over on the beach.....I don't know yet.....really depends on how late we get into town.

As for Friday night, there is a group of us that will just be hanging at the LQ beverages, music, and chillin. For those not into the Hard Rock.

Very much appreciated -BTW I am traveling across the road in one of those mobility scooters because the hip I broke last year is still not strong enough for long walks -so watch out -a few adult beverages & a scooter can be very dangerous

A little bird told me that they are not letting anybody into the parking lot without a "valid" ticket to the concert. I assume it is because of all the other activities going on at the fairgrounds (caribbean fest, ASPCA adoptions). Has anybody else heard this?

Last year they checked tickets going in and if I remember it was $5 to park if you did not have one. What was it last year, a craft fair?

The fairgrounds usually doesn't charge for parking if at least 1 person in the car has a ticket. Otherwise they charge $5.00.
