Even though we can't make it this year, I may have convinced another BN poster to visit the Pittsburgh show...something about how great the Steel City Fins group was when we visited.

HI, I'M BACK FROM FULL-TIME NANA DUTY and had to read 2-1/2 pages to just catch up. I must say, after hours of tailgating, the only thing I feel I need to take into the venue is me, my ticket, my cell phone, my money and my friends. All my girly stuff is useless at that point. So, my advice is to basically bring just that stuff onto the bus. Other than pics, I have used my cell phone to round up stragglers for the bus OR if I'm that straggler, to have someone come get me and show me where the bus is parked. lmao. My most important items to bring on the bus are at least 2 coolers filled with finger food (lots of carbs and protein), copious Jello shots, club soda, rum, aloe, and ummm, oh yeah, more rum. It ranks right up there with the best day of the year and just gets better and better every year I PARTY IN PITT. The people are the best,, the tailgating is the best and the venue is the best. Anything else is just sausage gravy.

Can I have biscuts to go with the gravy??

I have my concert night reservations at HIE for my baby buffett broads and me. Hanging tight til the bus info comes out..... YAY.

So freaking sick today with a sinus infection, even fell asleep playing wiht Jamie, my 5 year old grandgirl. Bless her sweet heart, she covered me up, turned on her movie, brought her fashion dolls out and sat and played with them and rubbed my head while I slept. She's so amazing. Woke me up when she was hungry and while I fixed her a snack, she let the dogs out and then said, Nana lay down, I'll just sit right here with you and eat. I NEVER have done that before and didn't go back to sleep cuz I felt like such a Nana-putz. So, guess who gets to go to Build-A-Bear on Wednesday.
