Did you check the Tour Dates page?
http://www.buffettnews.com/tourdates/ It shows Ticketmaster.
Thanks, I did check that but they still do not have it listed at Ticketmaster, I am sure they will before to long
There may be something wrong with your browswer because this is what it says:
05.22.10 - Pizza Hut Park - Dallas, TX (Frisco)
Tickets on sale 02/22 - TicketMaster
Yup I see that on the Buffettnews site but this is what is listed on Ticketmasters site
http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/7346 ... yperf_nle1
AAAAhhhh, I see what you mean! You're right, I checked this morning and it wasn't listed on Ticketmaster yet.

So... got a call from the Stumble Inn asking if I still wanted a room for the Jimmy Buffett concert as they were going down the waiting list. I had to confirm right now and it would be $229/night with a 2 night minimum. Must pay now with no possibility of refund if cancelled.
When I questioned the cancellation policy he blamed it on the owner. I suggested that even if someone cancelled, they wouldn't have trouble filling the space so why not give a refund. He couldn't / wouldn't answer. Didn't want to answer any other questions. He said he was just the messenger expressing the owner's policy.
We'll stick with the Holiday Inn Express, thank you.

If everyone would follow the path your taking those rates would come down. Why spend that much when I can stumble an extra mile to the HIE and pay $140 less per night.

I too stayed in the Stumble Inn last year for around $90, but refuse to pay
$230 this year especially with no cancellation policy. More money for tailgate supplies.

They tried to cancel my res for 99 and charge 230. Corporate had to show them the reservation system log to prove I made my res before they blocked the rooms off. Crappy if you ask me.

I am glad you were able to get that straightened out.

That is so shady!! I wonder how many people with existing reservations will get taken by the price hike without looking into it first??

The only reason I checked is my buddy told me about one of his experiences. Very similiar...he threatened to camp out in their lobby and he had a room. The folks at corporate were steamed and with the Superbowl coming they said they are monitoring rates very closely.

Thanks. I would have not have called if my friend hadn't urged me too. He had a similar situation before.

New to the forum (been a lurker for awhile). Was just wondering about the RV situation at Frisco. Do you buy a spot from ticketmaster the same time you buy your tickets or is there another third party you have to deal with! Thanks for any help and I sure hope you Parrot Heads down in Texas don't mind a memphis boy crashing your party. I promise to bring good bbq and lots of booze!! This is going to be my first tailgate party so any suggestions would be great. Thanks and everybody have a good night!!

sounds like a plan to me

not a lot, just a small percentage of the savings, to charity... and you get the benefit of a warm glow inside (my warm glow will be the sunburn on bare scalp..

You do not pay Ticketmaster and you have a couple of options
1. Wheatsailor is your man as far as the FFF IV RV parking and you pay the attendant the day you arrive. last year we were able to get into the lot Saturday morning with some delay because of the traffic. Not sure if FFF will do Friday night this year but again Wheat can help you with that. Also there is a post earlier in the thread asking who was planning on bringing an RV.
2. You can park in the designated RV lot starting Friday night at five at PHP and that is the recommended day to come in with an RV from my experience. Again you pay the attendant at the PHP parking lot.
I can't find the link for RV parking at PHP but as I recall Friday night into Sunday morning is $250, I am sure they will post the RV information again when they update the concert schedule

We need to get in touch with the H.O.G. and let him know that late May is very conducive to seeing YELLOW STARS in Frisco.
