New to the forum (been a lurker for awhile). Was just wondering about the RV situation at Frisco. Do you buy a spot from ticketmaster the same time you buy your tickets or is there another third party you have to deal with! Thanks for any help and I sure hope you Parrot Heads down in Texas don't mind a memphis boy crashing your party. I promise to bring good bbq and lots of booze!! This is going to be my first tailgate party so any suggestions would be great. Thanks and everybody have a good night!!

You do not pay Ticketmaster and you have a couple of options

1. Wheatsailor is your man as far as the FFF IV RV parking and you pay the attendant the day you arrive. last year we were able to get into the lot Saturday morning with some delay because of the traffic. Not sure if FFF will do Friday night this year but again Wheat can help you with that. Also there is a post earlier in the thread asking who was planning on bringing an RV.

2. You can park in the designated RV lot starting Friday night at five at PHP and that is the recommended day to come in with an RV from my experience. Again you pay the attendant at the PHP parking lot.

I can't find the link for RV parking at PHP but as I recall Friday night into Sunday morning is $250, I am sure they will post the RV information again when they update the concert schedule

We brought our RV down last year to FFFIII. PHP wouldn't open its lots on Friday night, so we ended up staying in the parking lot for the city library. Wheatsailor sorted out everything for us and we were allowed to stay there overnight. There was a merry band of about 8 RV's there on Friday night. We got up early the next morning and got in line for the parking lot. Wheatsailor had devised a very specific parking plan so everyone would fit in the parking lot at PHP but the parking attendant wasn't buying any of it (despite the best efforts of Wheatsailor and Mr. Play). Everyone managed to get in near each other and it all worked out in the end. The cost was $25 per parking spot and we paid for four spots. You pay the attendant when you enter the lot.

I think the post about contacting Wheatsailor was in the previous thread under Tour Dates and Rumors. You should shoot Wheatsailor a PM as soon as possible regarding your RV. You'll have a fabulous time in the parking lot with the rest of us! It was SO much phun last year.

The mere thought of Memphis BBQ is making my mouth water! My husband and I went to Memphis in November and had BBQ at Rendezvous. Oh, I nearly died and went to heaven that night! YUM!!

Thanks to everyone for taking on the RV question. I am working with PHP to secure the lot for Friday and Saturday. It may be a bit before there are answers. They are still working out their plan.

In the future will find any RV info in the parking section of page 1, as well as links to PHP parking policy.

I am stunned. Had it NOT been for someone mentioning having to miss their son's college graduation, it NEVER would have occured to me that a keet could interupt the flocking?? So Eldest is graduating May 21st at 7pm. It's a solid 8.5 hr drive to Dallas. The pretty much wipes out dallas. I'm SICK. suppose he wouldln't mind us missing it????
I'll make a quilt and send for the auction. At least we have other options; St. Louis, Nashville and even (yuck) Atlanta.
