We aren't doing a stripper pole, but there will be a new surprise for the back of the Leaky Tiki this year. If it works out like I hope it will, it could be one of the best ideas I've had in a while. It should take the after party up a notch, but that's all I can say for now.

I know what it is and all I can say is way COOL.

From Vicki's daughters:

Great News!!! Vicki has been up moving around and even walking out into the hallway. Her physical therapist say they are very proud of the progress she has made. The doctors say that she could be moving to rehab as soon as tomorrow. We will let you all know the particulars once she is there or we here something. She still has her cell phone if you want to call her.

This weekend is the Jimmy Buffett concert, which she has been looking forward to for months. We do not know yet if she will get to go with medical personnel or just be able to watch some footage via the Internet. If you talk to her on Saturday, please try and keep her spirits high and thinking positive.

Well, I am very sad to report that my hat parrot developed post-operative complications. He passed away tonight. He sure put up a good fight, but he just couldn't make it another year. So, no hat this year. At least I have my way cool sunglasses. And I DO have a new hat for Friday night! I just can't wear it Saturday. It doesn't match my outfit. It's a girl thing.

Watched some of the Ustream of the Houston show, got me really wanting the show now. It's been 13 months! Going night night now, gotta get up and do a couple hours of paperwork and fix up the car windows, do the last charity challenge post of the season and then hit the road! See you all tomorrow or Saturday!

Oh, and the phirst thing I packed (and checked a gazillion times) were the concert tickets and wristbands. I might forget my husband, but I'm good to go!
