Vicki Britt - $4,500
National Breast Cancer Foundation - $1,500
Alzheimers Association - $1,500
Family of a Fort Hood, TX Victim (TBD) - $1,000
Amyloidosis - $500
Total - $9,000
I'll make the donations this week and next. This is the best part and it wouldn't be possible without all the help and support.
Even more than the great party, the charity aspect is what keeps me doing this year after year.
Fantastic job!!!!! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard making the event outstanding. This was our first Frisco Feeding Frenzy and it more than exceeded any expectations!!!! Looking forward to visiting Texas in the future.
Hey all,
It was great geeting away for a bit and coming back to see what you all had going on. Thanks to Darvi and Michele for showing me around. It was a pleasure to cough up the bucks and push the button on the Boys from Boston twice.
We received a better rate on the 2-Double bed Hotel rooms at La Quinta Lewisville for my 50th Birthday bash with John Frinzi. See the information below.
I will probably start a thread on it soon. Looking forward to having a great party and meeting alot of great people.
Rumor has it we (LSPHC) are having a Bowling for Kids Sake event the next day for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. I see alot of gutter balls in my future.

It was great meeting you and I look forward to seeing you next year. And thank you for allowing us to hang with you all.
Thanks for the link. I'll try to figure out the Photo Bucket site over the weekend. The only problem with vacations is trying to get caught up with work afterwards
The Leaky Tiki tub is cleaned up like new and ready for the next adventure.
No jello shot cups in the filter this year, I think that's a first. Slackers
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out, and proclaiming,
“Wow, what a ride!!!”

Mr Play wrote:I went to see Vicki in the rehab hospital today. It's a pretty neat place and they keep the patients active so they can go home and resume their lives. She was in a wheelchair when I got there and she stayed sitting up the whole time. I printed off a 5x7 of the picture that Mango Bulldog sent me, and gave it to her in a frame. She thought it was awesome, and was also blown away by the amount we are giving her.
The only negative was that she didn't get to watch the concert on ustream, because apparently the ospital's network was blocking the site. I could tell she was pretty disappointed about that.
It's no secret that I got emotional when I was corralling the Skype call to Vicki. Let's just say that watching her struggle for her life helped me put my own problems in perspective, and it helped give me strength to push through the darkest times. It doesn't matter how bad you think you have it, there is always someone else that has it worse. She has been an inspiration to me and I owe her for that. Thanks again to everyone who lined up to show their support. It meant a lot to me and I could tell it meant a lot to her too.
Bless your heart, Bill! You are correct about putting our problems in perspective. My own younger daughter was facing heart valve replacement as a tiny infant in 1984. You always meet people that are in bigger need than you and your family. We are all blessed. Go kiss your kids

Vicki seems to be doing well!! She has been undergoing a lot of therapy that is making her stronger each day. She receives about 2-3 hours in the morning and then another 2 hours in the afternoon. She did go down to the dining room to eat today, which is a big change from eating in her room. She even went to the mirror to fix herself up. (She brushed her hair and teeth, and said she was as presentable as could be while in the hospital. Pretty soon she'll be asking for makeup and curlers for her hair.)
She was aslo wathcing Ellen when I called today. She seems to be getting back into the routine of things.
She still loves to phone calls, visits, and emails. It helps to make her day.
