The challenge for fundraising this year:

I have had the beard since 1994, I doubt anyone remembers what I look like w/out it. If we raise $20,000 for the charities, the beard comes off. And as a further incentive: if we raise $30,000, I'll finish the road to bald, and shave my head too.

if there is a presale this year..
remember that pre-sale gets you in, but not always
the best tix.. it is great that we are given a chance to
"seal the Deal" before the general Public.. but please do
remember that the whole premise of a presale is
to get tix and not have the stress of the "day of sale"

this holds true for any Presales not just Jimmy

I am not stress not saying that you would be better served
by waiting because you could be shut out of tix if you do that..
I am saying don't expect the best seats..

It could happen, but the odds are against it..

Don and our friend Damon want to volunteer for the dunking booth again....Damon is the lawyer that wore a suit in the dunking booth last year.

Bill and Jim, let me know what sending out involves ...... I may be able to handle some of that......

Not sure I can make it, but I am lucky enough to have a friend that only lives about 7 miles away from Pizza Hut Park. So if at the time I decide I can make it all the tickets are sold out.....I can still come to the tailgate and have fun.

OK as a Traveler.. things I have learned from my trips to
the great state of Texas..

Water.. it's my friend
Sunscreen
Gatorade... also a friend
pay for the toll pass.. the "admin charge" from the Car rental joints..... it stings..
either rent or bring a GPS.. if you travel in a group or with someone
that can read a map.. OK but my GPS rocks.. it can find gas (both for me and the rig) places to eat/drink and stay..
a hat.. Sun/Rain.. it could happen
rain gear?? we don't need WELL... you may.. it could happen
a good camera..

I see that some are nervous about the May 22nd date. This date was confirmed to the Lone Star Parrot Head Club and we are taking ticket orders now. The ticket allotment we have been given is for the $126 tickets and they have always been on the field in section J.

There is no service charge on the tickets when ordered through a Parrot Head Club. You must be a member of a Parrot Head Club to puchase and/or use these tickets. The deadline for ordering these tickets is February 18th for the Lone Star Parrot Head Club.

Tickets are limited but we usually have enough tickets to cover the orders.
Heck the service charge savings covers your membership!
