I am trying to be patient and keep up added tour date hope but where are the West Coast events? I am looking at the schedule and knowing that Jimmy only averages 25-30 shows a year, I don't see where and when they are going to be.

Since he does not come to Colorado anymore, I hit Vegas in 06, and 07. The last two years I travelled and had great weekends in New Orleans and Chicago. I was really hoping for something out West again but there aren't even viable rumors right now. What is a Parrothead West of Frisco, Texas to do?

Come on Jimmy, I need my tropical getaway in Middle America.

I'm thinking New Jersey in August might seem pretty tropical

Looking back at 2008, here are the days that the Who's Going threads were started-

3/28 for San Diego 10/16

3/31 for Vegas 10/18

3/25 for Mountain View 10/21

4/3 for Vegas 10/25

Hopefully this year we'll get an announcement around the end of March, if not sooner!

Great info! I was just digging thru my old emails to find out when I bought my Vegas tix from last year. Looks like the May Vegas thread was started on Feb 2!

Went to Vegas in May, it was fun, but just was not the same. MGM pushed all the parrothead stuff out from the pool to an alley. A garbage alley.
If A date comes out for spring in LV or elsewhere, TAKE IT RICK! I know I will, because I am on the very fringe of "quitting Jimmy". I have more important things now like my sons that require more time than I have to devote to maybes.
I didn't go either of those because the Man in the Video told me he was coming to San Diego (Chula Vista) and Vegas in October. My bad, I took him for his word

Hmmm . . . . I got an email from Jake's jklub site. Jake's going to have private shows for his fans on Friday March 26th in Maui and Sunday March 28th at JB's at the Beachcomber (and a public show in Maui on Saturday.) There's nothing on the calendar at the Maui Culteral Center for Thursday and there's nothing showing on the schedule for the Waikiki Shell on Saturday. So far, Jimmy's schedule is totally open in that period . . . .
Who's up for a JB show in the Shell the last weekend of March? :D :D

From the old theme park-- to the pool area-- to the garbage alley? The "Jimmy in Vegas" experience has taken a bit of a hit of late- for sure.

I come to these things to primarily to meet up with other Parrotheads anyway. The best party people in the world. Jimmy's show is just the frosting. Hell- if I were Jimmy I would've quit the touring part of the gig years ago- so I give him credit for pushing on. A little less on the merchandising push would be nice..but that's just me.
That's the best part for me. A couple of times, I've had so much fun I could have done without the concert. :)

If more of the Parrotheads out there would start showing up to the various Trop Rock artists' shows across the country, we could each have this kind of party way more than once a year.

I think you have hit on the future of the ParrotHead Nation, my friend. Jimmy is gonna ring that final bell sometime in the next few years and, trust me, this group of crazies is NOT going to stop. So it's the Trop Rock artists that will lead the way. Bubba WILL live on.
