You mean on the website? I can't even find it on there.
It's listed under the contests tab. It also changed above since that picture is linked to the radio station website.
Ahhh, I was looking under concerts, lol. And I guess it took awhile for my computer to catch up, because the pics above still showed the 6th when I typed that, lol.

I'm thinking they should give you some free tickets for pointing out their error...make sure there's one for me, too.

And I'd be surprised to see a radio station announce this before Margaritaville.com.
Actually I think it's happened a few times before...but usually the announcements end up being closer together. It is surprising that the PHC emails went out and nothing else has shown up. But I'm also wondering about a Saturday Shoreline date...that's abbynormal!
Actually, this is the second or third time that local media has broken the news before M'ville.com, here in the Bay Area.

I was in Tampa last and the new tour shirts were no help. The only west coast date on them was Las Vegas.

San Jose (SJC) is the closest (5 miles?), but San Francisco (SFO) isn't too far way (10 or so?) . . . .

Friends don't let friends fly through SFO. :) To me, it's the least convenient airport to use.

I'd recommend SJC over SFO. It's closer, flights can be cheaper into there, and it's very convenient to Shoreline.

OAK (Oakland Airport) is also good, with flights on the cheaper end for the Bay Area, but is somewhat further from Shoreline - probably 35 miles or so.

I prefer SJC over SFO too (my oldest 'keet goes to Santa Clara Univ and lives about about a mile away) but it kinda depends on where you're flying from . . . not everyone can fly into SJC.

I once flew from San Francisco to Oakland. Not by choice mind you.
Seems a California Congressman was sent to the wrong airport by his assistant.
Trust me when I say that there wasn't anyone on board that plane that would have voted
for him after that.

Does anyone know what the prices are like for Irvine? Or how fast the tickets sell out? The date for Irvine is on MV but no one started a thread for it yet.

Ticketmaster doesn't have it posted yet. Usually $126. and up for a seat. Lawns usually a little cheaper but it's small, sloped, and pretty yucky last time I was there, (way too much spilled beer and urine.....eeeuwwwww). Irvine will sell out. But they will probably dribble tickets out for weeks. And there are always tickets for sale from peeps in the parking lot if you wanna take a chance.

Ok, so the lawn sucks and I am looking at $126. Thanks for the info! That was everything I needed to know. :)

PHIP was talking $136 per ticket. I'd guess that LiveNation will add service fees to that.

Rich, lets make sure to find each other this year. I am going to really try to get my band there to play in the parking lot for fun. Let's hope they open the parking lot earlier too. Last time I was there (2007 or 8?) they didn't let us in until 2:30.

Hello Parrothead Nation!

Great to see Jimmy is coming west! We were just mulling over taking the FINS BUS east! We are coming off seeing the Eagles to Hollywood Bowl twice last week, and at Anaheim's Pond, with a detour to see Don Henley at a private benefit concert in Dallas for his kid's grade school. Kenny Chesney in Vegas at the Hard Rock in two weeks.

We need our Jimmy fix as much as we love The Eagles and Chesney. We will have the bus at both Irvine and Vegas (parked in the Flamingo loading dock). Black/Gold 45' bus with "FINS BUS" plates. Stop by locals!
