So after last years fiasco with the cancellation of the West Coast Tour is JB management empathetic...or not... to the damage that was done. Right now I think fans out here just want to believe we matter. We can forgive and forget. Just show us some love Jimmy..that's all. :)
Mountain View..... Oct. 16 (on sale April 30)
Portland................Oct. 19 (on sale April 26)
Irvine.................... Oct. 21 (on sale May 5)
Las Vegas............. Oct. 23 (on sale April 23)

Can't say I'd mind seeing west coast dates either. Sometimes they get announced fairly late.

Not everyone travels thousands of miles. After cancelling the shows last fall in SD/Irvine/Vegas. you think we'd at least get a date to look forward to. Loyality goes 2 ways...or so I thought

BOISE? I am sorry - I am sure Boise is a very nice place to live - but Jimmy is NEVER going to play Boise - sorry! Stop wishing and just go fishing!

There're still a lot of frayed feelings out there about what happened last year (I made a bunch of noise about it, along with others)... but I think we need to give Jimmy & Co. a chance to figure a way to make it all right best way they can.

We can all agree that the economy sucks-and everyone's having to make tough choices. Jimmy's base is in the East- that's understood. Touring is easier & the big venues are closer- so it's a no brainer. Seems when the MGM/Vegas deal went sour that's when Jimmy pulled the plug for the whole West Coast because the tour didn't pencil without it.

Hopefully these things can be remedied- maybe just one Vegas show instead of three. Maybe a whole new Vegas venue altogether. But when-and if- it IS announced.... 8)

After what he did last year I think we West Coasters deserve a full West Coast tour from Vancouver BC all the way to California. May be we should start a email campaign? Any one want to creat a form email that people just have to add there info to and then send off?

I must say I really did enjoy that show. I got no parking lot time, which is fine. I drove from Santa Monica, left at 5, to Irvine. Parked the car, walked to the box office, bought one seat, it was a great seat. Walked right on in and on the way to my seat they started Hot Hot Hot....

I really enjoyed that show!!!

I'm really sorry I didn't go to that show Rich. I was counting on the fall show, and then it was cancelled. IF he announces a so cal date, (any date) I'm snatching up tickets quick!

Lesson to learn: If you have a chance to do something now, do it now, don't put it off.
Went to Vegas in May, it was fun, but just was not the same. MGM pushed all the parrothead stuff out from the pool to an alley. A garbage alley.
If A date comes out for spring in LV or elsewhere, TAKE IT RICK! I know I will, because I am on the very fringe of "quitting Jimmy". I have more important things now like my sons that require more time than I have to devote to maybes.

From the old theme park-- to the pool area-- to the garbage alley? The "Jimmy in Vegas" experience has taken a bit of a hit of late- for sure.

We've have had a lot of good times (with a lot of great PH people) at the Margaritaville Street Party these last few years (a garbage alley in it's own right- just little more upscale?). Ten years ago, though, seeing Jimmy in Vegas was an incredible time...and so lately it's definitely lost a bit of it's shine. Whether Jimmy can control any of that peripheral stuff- I don't know. Maybe find a smaller, warmer venue... maybe the Thomas & Mack Center (Dean's idea) with prefunctions nearby . I think if Jimmy is at all interested in re-infusing what initial started this magical journey for him he might look in that direction...

I come to these things to primarily to meet up with other Parrotheads anyway. The best party people in the world. Jimmy's show is just the frosting. Hell- if I were Jimmy I would've quit the touring part of the gig years ago- so I give him credit for pushing on. A little less on the merchandising push would be nice..but that's just me.

I do agree with you on life's other priorities. This year my daughter's getting married and my oldest son is graduating from med school-talk about celebrations. Life is good. PHins up my friend!
