And Larry, Yes I AM Southern. So that does mean that I think it's chilly when it's 70 degrees after the concert. But that also means I make ham biscuits that you came back for seconds of You're my favorite HOG in the whole world. Your pal, Auntie.

I'm having second thoughts about those ham biscuits. When the HOG eats ham isn't that, well, kind of like cannibalism?

I just want to thank Surfpirate, Schoolgirlheart and everyone who made us feel welcome in Virginia. We had a great time and let me say it was a priviledge getting to sit with the legendary Surfpirate at Mac's show on Friday

From the stripper pole, to the rum peaches, from the Tonga juice to Frank's meat, it was an incredible tailgate. Critter Cove is where the Critters are, not where the trees are.

When it became clear that it was going to be the last song of the evening, I fired up my camera and took a video of what I had hoped would be Nautical Wheelers. In any case, I got He Went To Paris on video instead. The footage is blurry and shaky because I was half way up the lawn, so I am fully aware that it's crappy. But, I thought I'd share it anyway.

My Day at the Lube......or What Else Could Go Wrong
> Due to a personal commitment my wife and I got a late start from our home in PA on Saturday morning
> We arrived just about 3 pm only to get herded into Parking Lot F, you know, the one in another zip code? It's called Lot F for a reason, but I digress....
> Once parked I realized that I left my cell phone in our luggage that we hurriedly dropped off when checking into the Battlefield Best Western
> Without a means to now contact the BNers and given the long walk from Lot F to anywhere, my wife and I just decided to stay and make the best of it for a while.
> We had a group of college age kids all around us that were very cool and polite, they invited us for drinks, some snacks, and parking lot games.....my wife and I felt like "parents"

> Upon our return we saw 3 cops standing in the middle of the group.....several receiving citations for underage drinking

No one was getting s**t-faced and I even heard one say that he was the designated driver. Needless to say, that incident kind of killed the festivities pretty good.....
