The bar across the street is. Rippy's. Good barbque and the upstairs patio is a good one. You couldn't get no closer to the venue that that place.frankbama07 wrote:What about Joe's Crab Shack? good size place with a great atmosphere. Surely they can handle the crowd and band? Big River??? good size and patio. Also the bar right across the Sommet Center is a REALLY good spot the name escapes me right now. They have a awesome balcony where the phlock can hang out outside...it holds big crowds...especially when the Preds play.
Dang no Tall Paul!!!!!!!! Maybe Homemade Wine..new up and coming Trop Rock band. I've seen them in Knoxville and put on a great show. Maybe Jake and The Half Conched band saw them @ Stars last year play a kick a@ss show and got the party kickin. Conch Republic did a great pre-show before Cinci last year. I am just big on promoting the newbies....it's my mission....
Rum Punch Bandits!!! just sayin...............

According to the local news you were able to prepay, but I don't think that option is available yet. Sorry about that Auntie.phjrsaunt wrote:I'm confusedUAHparrothead wrote:Here is a really cool website where you can prepay for a parking spot in a garage around downtown. http://parkitdowntown.com/Where do I go after I get to that page to check out the cost, make a reservation, etc.???

Welcome aboard! Glad you started postingcarolinapiratechik wrote:New to BN but have been visiting the website for a couple of years.
Hope Nashville welcomes four more parrotheads to the concert. We are looking to join some pre-concert celebration.

I see we think alike rick. I checked on this earlier today and it isn't cheap and there isn't much availability either. That is also PROM night for a lot of schools. But the bus I found was 200 per hour and it only held 40 people. They wouldn't discount the time for the show since other things are going on. Usually they give a discounted rate during the event but not this time I tried already. Oh and it was for a min of 6hrs.capnrick wrote:Hey! why couldn't we RENT BUSSES and charge a recovery fee from everybody attending the Tailgate someplace outside of downtown???

Let's rent out the penthouse at the Hilton next door.Wildh2oskier wrote:I liked the idea of renting out a parking lot. I don't know anything about Nashville but if it is a doable thing...count me in. With a 15 year old in tow I don't see a bar as an alternative for me this time.
