It's gonna be a fun weekend! Gonna party all day Saturday at Rippy's and also gotta get some good eatin' in at Monell's, The Cheesecake Factory, and maybe Joe's Crab Shack. We don't have any of that here in Knoxville. :(

Well I was able to scout out rippy's on sunday. I was downtown yesterday for the preds game. That room is new. They knocked out a wall into the next building and made an addition. It is attached to the outside patio with the upstairs bar in between. It should make an excellent spot for the phlocking!

BIG thanks to the club for making this happen. Now, who's gonna baby sit me and make sure I keep the liquor pace okay to be sober enough to enjoy the concert? That's what I'm really gonna miss, the RV and those nice naps. The Keet is beyond himself about the meet-n-greet. Wonder if he'll try to kiss Nadirah? I'll have to have the camera ready!!! We're coming from Memphis and staying with Nashville friends.

No, I'm not planning on it. If it doesn't rain, we may go to MIM Music Fest that day.

You're right, Jimmy doesn't play anywhere close to us anymore. I don't know anyone that lives in Nashville so I'd have to pay $100+ for hotel, $320+ for 2 tickets, plus food, alcohol, and gas. I wish I could do it, but I just don't see it happening.

Since I will be driving in from NC for the concert, and assuming that my friends and I may not be able to make it into the party @ Rippy's does Nashville have an online resource for other events that may be happening in connection with the concert? Trying to have a back-up plan for some pre-concert phun. Thanks for your help.

For what it's worth, and if this has been mentioned on this string I apologize, but the Sommet Center has had a name change...it's now called the Bridgestone Arena.
That's still better than Jiffy Lube Live.
VA BEACH (97,16), BRISTOW (98-12, 15, 17,18, 21), NASHVILLE (99, 17), COLUMBIA, MD (00), GREENSBORO (01-02), RALEIGH (03), ANTIOCH, TN (03), CHULA VISTA (04), PHILADELPHIA (05), LAS VEGAS (06-16, 19), HOUSTON (07), ATLANTIC CITY (07), FRISCO, TX (08).
