I noticed that, too. She looked like she was 'mouthing' it the rest of the concert. I bet her voice was gone. And of COURSE you can use that picture. It was on my camera, so either Gary or Mike (the one at our table) took it.

WAYNE ! I was so worried about you. I'm glad you made it home ok. I am so sorry that your trip to Nashville was so....wet. Next time ! Let's hope Jimmy comes back next year. I think.
Oh Lord. She's ALREADY wondering when Buffett's coming back to Nashville

Thanks so much to all of you willing to help out the critters! They always seem to be an after thought for so many during a disaster like this. However for those of us on the frontlines with the furrbabies, they are our top priority. So many flood victims refuse to evacuate if they can't take their pets. Slowly, the government, Fema, etc., are realizing this and the need to have shelters able to care for the pets during a disaster.

A bit late... I guess the forum didn't want to let me know when people posted to the thread...
I made it home alright. Left immediately after the show, I24/I65 NB near exit 87 was slow but I think it was just a traffic accident... Stopped to get some food and gas at the Trinity Rd. exit, nothing bad there... I65 at Long Hollow Pike (Goodlettsville area) the exit was closed due to water coming about halfway up the off ramp (and the intersection, etc nearby flooded)... Other than that, I-65 northbound was fine until the KY line then got lots of rain between there and Bowling Green. Got on the Natcher Pkwy and the rain finally let up once I got past Morgantown. Got a call while near Morgantown from a friend (who is a trained weather spotter and radio operator) said a line of possible tornadic weather was heading straight towards Owensboro. I got to Owensboro before the rain hit and went to our Emergency Management office to help track the storms with them... Luckily we didn't get hit, just a few limbs down and some heavy rain... Finally left there, met up with some friends and got some Dennys then finally got home and passed out as the sun was coming up...
Great weekend... wish I could have met up with some people, hopefully next time won't be as wet!

Sarcasm font in place. . . I just want to THANK the NATIONAL MEDIA for coming to town TODAY. End sarcasm font

Nashville and surrounding counties and those of you who were here for the beginning and end of the flood jumped at ways to help and have us well on the way to recovery. The volunteer website in Nashville has crashed so many times over the last few days I lost count. It seems that the VOLUNTEER STATE has proven itself yet again. We don't need the press to cover us. We can pull ourselves up by our bootstraps without National news coverage.

I tried that and did a trial run on cafepress & tshirtmagic. Resolution on both pictures won't allow for expanding the pic size w/out them looking "grainy" on the shirt. Have been playing around with the pics in photoshop but I'm not that experienced at photo enhancements. Guess I'm better at pillaging and plundering then photos and pixels 8)

Well, damb. I sprained my knee yesterday, and Mr. Irishcajun has been down for months with a bad back, knees, feet, and hips. I wrapped my knee and limped out to check our crawl space. There is standing water and mold and mildew. All of our insulation for our a/c and heat is down there. Neither of us is really physically able to crawl under and check the extent of damage. Our outside room off the patio also took on water. Our grass is also high enough for deer to hide in. I had been too busy helping others until my knee shut me down today to check our own residence. DAMB!!! Time to figure out a plan to handle our own issues. :-?

this Email just in from my Friend Kevin Montgomery..
two causes.. but I wish I could see this show.. please attend if you can

"wayne,
Hope this email finds you well, and dry! Nashville is in turmoil after last week's flood. It is a tragedy that is unfolding still. Friends that we all know and love have been touched......The Mavericks guitars and gear, and drums were Soundcheck studios was flooded.....friends with their lifelong collection of guitars.....completely destroyed, and much worse.
There are two stories I want you to pay attention to:
One, if you've been reading my blog you will have seen that I'm eaten up lately with helping my friend fight a "conservatorship" placed on him by his brother. Danny Tate is in the fight of his lifetime, and guess what!? He was completely flooded out. Lost everything.
He has very graciously asked that any money made at his Awareness Concert on May 23rd go to another flood victim. We are seeking that person out now. I've lined up people like Peter Holsapple from REM and the dBs, Jonell Mosser, Gary Talley from The Boxtops, Gorilla Baby, and Kevin Montgomery and the Roadtrippers featuring Robert Reynolds and Paul Deakin from The Mavericks will unite for the first time in 4 years for the show-Please read the full story here- http://www.kevinmontgomery.com/2010/05/ ... es-emerge/
Two, ordinary people are emerging as heroes in the aftermath of this flood. My friend Wendy started a Facebook group called "Pay it forward Nashville" and has been doing wonderful things. Read about how she got 40 people to show up and lend a hand to an elderly woman and her son who were struggling to cope with the enormous flood damage they received Join the group and get involved. You will quickly see that you too can make a difference. Read it here- http://www.kevinmontgomery.com/2010/05/ ... aftermath/
Please share these stories with your friends on facebook and via email. Our city is hurting. I prefer the direct approach and both of these folks are doing good things to help other people in a direct manner.
Thanks for hanging with me on this email list. I know my attention has been diverted away from writing songs for the record i've promised for later on the in the year, but this is life stuff, and worthy life stuff. I'll get on it soon!"

I just linked the picture from another site, so I guess that's as big as it gets. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

T-shirt design has been completed but there must be some kind of protection on it so that you can't copy and paste it. I'll keep trying but suggestions on how to show it here are welcome.

First, have the picture of the shirt on your screen.
Then, on a MS Windows computer pressing the 'print screen' key (maybe prtscn or something similar) captures a picture of the entire screen to the clipboard. Then open MS Paint and from the 'edit' menu select 'paste'. You can then edit/crop/etc the picture and save it. You can also paste the picture into a MS Word document. Once you have saved the picture you can post it here.
