I think we might have a secret stash of blue cups lurking in the basement! I was just on the Jones Beach site...and it says lot opens at 12..I think a powerful gust of wind coming off the Atlantic might have to blow through the barricades, say around 6 a.m.

I'm thinking the same thing. Is Zach's Bay still closed?

Beach schedule is not out yet. Last year they closed Zach's Bay in August.
I think a surge of Parrotheads armed with Blue Cups will be able to claim the lot nice and early!

I'm hoping Zach's Bay will be open in August, it makes it much easier to get in the lot early.

Last year they did close Zachs for the month of August but made a point of opening it up the day of the show so everyone was able to get in and have a great tailgate, the state was thinking of us!! I can't remember what time it officially opened, I'm sure Al know when that was as he was already in the lot. 5 Minutes till ticket time!

If the beach is open, the lot opens super early. Last year, with the beach closed, the official time was 10:00am. And I'm thinking it was actually closer to 11 by the time they really opened. No matter, we'll be there bright and early. As usual.

Not yet. Getting a little too picky. Still pulling 3's up. Just hoping to hit it big.
Plenty of time to find tix. Besides we're not even sure if G can make it, she may have a weeklong band camp that week. She'll be so disappointed if she can't make JB@JB. But she'll have fun staying @ Grandma's.

I'm not sure I can do this right now.. I'm heading to VA for the Labor Day weekend shows at the Lube (yes, I like saying that!!!). Would mean driving to my Aunts on Wed with a Jones Beach hangover.. hmmm... course, if I bring the bar I can just head south then. So... maybe!

I'm not bothering with tix for this show. The last time I got tix they were in the nose bleed section and it gave me vertigo. I'm fine hanging with the firemen.... errr, I mean hanging on the beach!
