What's better, Chocolate Vanilla or Strawberry? Come on....
Vegas has no talegate and the party last year was quite lame compared to priors.

I'm going to be the first to say this....
When Jimmy finally plays Boise - that will be the tailgate to end all tailgates....

I'm on top of the world, lookin' down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around
You're love's put me at the top of the world

BoozeInTheBlender wrote:Yes Indy is a great show also. I love having the Sleepybear a couple hundred yards from the entrance to Deer Creek. I stayed there for the 04 show and met lots of great people. The campground isn't much on amminities, but it is a safe walk back after the show. I wish more venues had camping so close. You don't have to wait for the lot to open to start the tailgate party.Richard wrote:I must be biased because I live here but I enjoy Indy. I always hear people bashing on it but I enjoy it because everybody meets in the parking lot and tailgates there. You don't have to drive all over looking for a place to park, walk to the party, go back to the car, and then drive to the venue. I have been to Cincy but honestly like Indy more. I will have to report back about Alpine Valley as that is the road trip we have planned for this year.
indy gets a very bad rap. i have always had a great time in those lots! i have also camped at sleepy bear for a buffett show and it was great...i think

Been to 2-4 concerts every year for the past 17 years (I started early - Thank you older sister!) I would have to go with the home court of Great Woods! But I agree Ive been to some not so great venues (Mohegan) for instance - where the crowd was small and the party was indoors, and still met great people and enjoyed Jimmy none the less. It really is what you make of it

sorry, but I gotta throw some Don Julio on this fire...
All the aforementioned locations I'm sure are quite fine, and probably make for great weenie roasts and AA meetings
but you have not partaken of the unhinged debauchery and continual conspicuous consumption until you've done

Someone starts a thread like this every year.......
Last year I volunteered to do a detailed study.......no matter how long it takes.......parties attended......alcohol comsumed.....food tasted......with or without stripper poles (nissan)...... we'll finally be able to solve the question of the ages......who has the best tailgate? Who's with me????

If someone is sponsoring me, I'll attend every tailgate with you to take notes. . . . . for the first 15 minutes, after that you are on your own!Carolinadreamin' wrote:Someone starts a thread like this every year.......Last year I volunteered to do a detailed study.......no matter how long it takes.......parties attended......alcohol comsumed.....food tasted......with or without stripper poles (nissan)...... we'll finally be able to solve the question of the ages......who has the best tailgate? Hmmmm......we need sponsorship.......and clear memories of all the tailgating could become somewhat problematic....although we could just........go to the videotape......IrishPirate wrote:If someone is sponsoring me, I'll attend every tailgate with you to take notes. . . . . for the first 15 minutes, after that you are on your own!Carolinadreamin' wrote:Someone starts a thread like this every year.......Last year I volunteered to do a detailed study.......no matter how long it takes.......parties attended......alcohol comsumed.....food tasted......with or without stripper poles (nissan)...... we'll finally be able to solve the question of the ages......who has the best tailgate? There is nothing wrong with a powernap. Just don't do it sprawled over a cooler or the hood of a car.Carolinadreamin' wrote:Hmmmm......we need sponsorship.......and clear memories of all the tailgating could become somewhat problematic....although we could just........go to the videotape......IrishPirate wrote:If someone is sponsoring me, I'll attend every tailgate with you to take notes. . . . . for the first 15 minutes, after that you are on your own!Carolinadreamin' wrote:Someone starts a thread like this every year.......Last year I volunteered to do a detailed study.......no matter how long it takes.......parties attended......alcohol comsumed.....food tasted......with or without stripper poles (nissan)...... we'll finally be able to solve the question of the ages......who has the best tailgate?
