Not about islands, exactly, but about sailing and all the reasons for getting to an island.

This is one of my favorites- having grown up in Hawaii-from IZ. Somewhat an unknown but a gem nonetheless. It's called "Hele on to Kauai"
There's wind in our hair
And there's water in our shoes
It's been a lovely cruise.

Another Hawaiian local classic is "Island Style" by John Cruz...this takes you right to the essence of the local mindset.

Anyone ever hear "Stairway to Gilligan's Island," by Little Roger and the Goosebumps?dancastro wrote:Does the theme song from Gilligan's Island count?
The music is "Stairway to Heaven."
The lyrics are "Gilligan's Island."

Gin and Coconut Water - by the baha men. Their Junkanoo album is fabulous. My son was shocked to see them on my Ipod. He was convinced when he listened to the first two tracks....

"All Night Long" as done by Lionel Richie. I think Jimmy and the Reefers would do it justice.
