Where to find a song

Post by starrsm »

OK, I'm trying to find Jimmy's "Horizon has been defeated" cover from the 2005 tour. Itunes doesn't have it.

Any ideas, RadioMarg keep taunting me with it and i want it on the ipod....

Thanks!

You can grab the 2005 shows and individual tracks at the Jokelben site.

Thanks Chip!

What an AWESOME resource... finding it hard to pull away from it... lots of shows on there that bring back a lot of great memories... First show I took my wife to at Buckeye lake in 93, the Chicago show 2 weeks after 9/11, The Wrigley concerts. Only remarkable one I don't see is the Cleveland Jacobs Field from 95.

Thanks again!

Check out the Philly show from 1974. Great raw sound - Jimmy and a guitar with early versions of what I like about Buffett. Ringling, Ringling, Railroad Lady, Nautical Wheelers, Migration, and Stories We Could Tell.

So I get the songs downloaded, and the Ipod rolls craps.

I think I might not be allowed to have this song!

Have a great weekend all. I'll be poolside with a margarita in just 1.5 hours.

No set list in the BN set list database and I don't see it referenced in any of the known Buffett show archive lists around here.

It happened. It was awesome - the first time I saw Jimmy at such a large venue. Wish I could contribute to the setlist, but we drank Corona all the way up from Columbus, so the evening is a little fuzzy.

That said, Wrigley was better. The first night close with Jimmy and Mac in the bleachers with 'City of New Orleans' really hit considering the mood following Katrina. It was far better than the Monday night close at Wrigley.
