What - no one has said "Mexico" - that's a pretty good cover.

I went to a James Taylor concert a year ago and watched him sing it. Great song. While I love Buffett's version...I like the original a little better.

I've never cared for Mexico at all.
Don't mater who's singing it.

That would be great - if it was a cover.flipflop444 wrote:as far as his newer stuff i like We Learned To Be Cool From You.
Mac wasn't a Coral Reefer when It's My Job was recorded - and even still, regardless of that fact, any Mac song he does is a cover.

Question for the group -
Has Jimmy ever done the John Prine classic "Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian"? I love this song and would love to hear Jimmy do a version. For those who don't know this song I've attached a clip.

I would have to say Jamaica Farewell, and Southern Cross. I also liked the version he did of Once in a Lifetime at Alpine a few years ago.

I was hoping to see Scarlet Begonias up here. I'm not a Dead fan in the least, but I really like his version of the tune. When I DJ, I play it quite a bit and all the Deadheads want to know who's doing this great version!Vaniir wrote:I'd have to say:
