Can someone please help me? I need to know how to burn this to a DVD correctly. I can burn the files to a dvd, but I want it to play like a DVD like it was designed to do.

Thanks much!

Give us a little more info in your method. What software are you burning with?

My choice is ONES http://ww1.tx-software.com/boutique_us/ ... ag=1&num=0 Free 30 Day Trial available. $24.16 USD to purchase. Burning DVDs from harddrive is as simple as clicking "Burn VIDEO_TS".

Probably not a popular one, but what I like is that it's simple with minimal installation, in comparison to Roxio or Nero - unless you want all the extras with those suites.

I have Nero and I know how to burn a DVD. The problem is I can't seem to burn this so it looks like a real DVD. Meaning with the menu screen coming up and being able to select the chapters, etc... Is that just not possible, or am I just not doing it right. Every time I try Nero wants to make some stupid menu screen of it's own and there is only 3 chapters. The menu and the 2 halves of the show.

Thanks again!

I burned it fine with Sony DVD Architect as an already prepared project. Does Nero have that option?

I also have NERO 9 and know that there are a couple different ways to do it within. Here's one way: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive ... h_nero.cfm

You are probably doing the burn correctly... The menu screen on this DVD image does not have clickable or selectable links to choose the chapter stops. You will need to press Play then scan up or down to the chapter you want. On some software DVD players, such as WinDVD, you can right click, then select the chapter. It will be listed as "chapter 1", "chapter 2", etc; it won't be the actual song name.

That's what I originally thought and couldn't get it to play from the menu. I discovered when playing it on the computer that there are hotspots for each chapter/song. If you roll your mouse over the area to the left of each song title by the number, you can click to get it to play. Haven't tried it in a DVD player yet to see how it behaves. Nice looking menu screen, but could be a little more user-friendly.

Hmmm, didn't find the hotspots on the menu; I'll have to check it again. If there are selectable hotspots, then a regular DVD remote should be able to navigate to each link, assuming the spots are big enough to be seen. I'm just guessing tho. I have not used a regular DVD player to play this disc.

I'm burning now to test on a standalone.

My first copy - I have given away, but I thought I tested it on the PS3 and navigation worked fine.

Damn, I've authored a lot of DVDs hope I didn't fault this one. I'll report back shortly.

I just successfully tested / navigated while playing back on both a Sony PS3 as well as Toshiba HD-A30.
As for PC playback, I tested in Arcsoft Total Media Player - played fine, but in Cyberlink's Power DVD 8, I did experience odd behavior while navigating the chapters.
