Seeing the David Wilcox video in this thread reminded me that the song Northern Harbour closed with at the Margaritaville Niagara Falls grand opening was a David Wilcox song. No, not by the "American" David Wilcox, but the "Canadian" David Wilcox.

Northern Harbour's rendition was a little more straight-ahead rock & dancing good fun, but I love the rawness of this video. 8)
A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

Found this in the Lake City Journal...new album by Jack Mosley

Florida musician raises money to aid wildlife caught in Gulf oil spill

By Jenny Wilburn
triplejmediaconsulting.com

Englewood, FL – Local musician Jack Mosley vividly remembers the first time he stumbled across a tar ball on a Florida beach. It was 1995, and he was living in Nashville, pursuing his dream of a music career. During a trip home to see family, he took a late night walk on the beach…and walked away with a slimy foot and a major distrust of oil drilling off the Gulf Coast.

Fast forward 15 years, and Jack Mosley is still pursuing his music career, back in Florida, playing every weekend at clubs all over the state. He’s also working on a new album – his seventh – with music producer Norbert Putnam, who worked with Elvis Presley, Jimmy Buffett, Joan Baez and Kris Kristofferson.

As the recording process was finishing up at the House of Blues studios in Memphis , Jack told the team that he had one more song he’d like to play for them. He was calling it Drill Baby Drill, and it was a pointed and harsh look at the current situation in the Gulf of Mexico.

Drill Baby Drill calls out the oil companies, various politicians and even regular citizens whose only concern is a cheap gallon of gas. The song’s lyrics include phrases such as ‘Is it worth the price of paradise to save a buck on gas?’ and ‘Drill baby drill, how would you feel if it was headed for your hometown?’

The song was quickly recorded and placed on iTunes. The song is now available for download, and every penny from the sale of the song will go to the National Wildlife Federation, specifically for the rescue and cleanup of wildlife along the Gulf Coast.

OK Go - This Too Shall Pass

It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend
