I think I've seen this photo at LULU's and it looks like one from the Lulu's under the bridge at Fish River. Wonder if it was taken when Jimmy did the 80th birthday show for his mom?? Nice story with a reference to PHIP donation to the scholarship fund.
Kind of amusing to see the laid-back Lulu from Weeks Bay restaurant and then the "entrepreneur award winner" Lulu recently after her huge restaurant venture and cookbook, etc.
Along with many of you, I've had the pleasure of meeting and talking to her... and even dancing out in the sand with her at STARS a couple years. She really is such a down-to-earth, beautiful, southern gal.
I've seen Lucy a couple of times on the Today show, and I heard an interview with her. She seems so cool. This is so awesome that she is getting this award. Congratulations Lulu.
One of these days I really want to go to Lulu's restaurant. My niece, her husband, and my great nephew live in Alabama, but they live 5 hours from Lulu's. Hmmmm, I'll have to think about how to do this some day.
Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

Liz, you might want to consider going to Stars next year. http://www.starsfellonalabama.org/
Watch the website for next year's announcement. It is a lot of fun and they go to Lulu's.
