Just hearing Liz's segment. Very well done!
(I think you should have mentioned Ms.Sammie by name, though--her ears would have really pricked up then!)

Thank you! It was fun recording the segment. What was cute was when my name was shown on the display window of the Sirius receiver it showed up as Liz and Sammie. It just goes to show that Ms Sammie and I are a team no matter what we do in life together..

To those who did not make the cut keep trying. When I sent in my initial e-mail I did not think anything would come of it. Two days later I was asked to pick my 4 songs. I waited a week and a half before I received another e-mail with instructions on what to do to be recorded. Somebody does approve the song selections before recording begins.

I enjoyed the segments from other people this weekend. It was nice to hear the favorite songs and why and the parrothead memories that people had to share.

I sent in my 4 songs too and got back a standard "we'll let you know if we are interested" email. I wonder if the fact that I didn't pick M'ville, CIP, Volacano and WDWGDAS helped me or hurt me?!?!?!?
I doubt that it hurt you. It's a crap shoot as to whether you will make the cut or not. The segments that I listened to this weekend were not loaded with the hits.
