Nice idea, but with the feature regularly airing at 11 pm on a weeknight, well, I won't hear many of the shows......... :o

I was part of the pilot program for this back in Nov or Dec. I didn't make the cut, but it's a great idea and I hope it takes off.

I got an email from Kristin and replied but never heard back. I guess they didn’t like my song choice. I am truly disappointed.

But, but ....... (what about this?) 8)

No it doesn't really exist (yet). But the name was too cool not to register
and the tagline "Radio, with a capital Aaaar" was just too tempting.

I'll be emailing my 4 songs to "Fruitcakes On The Radio" as well. 8)

Make ya a deal SP....I'll pass on the RM gig to head out to sea with your crew of misfits......on two conditions. One, I get to drink and pick out my own music while I'm on air , and two, I want the Noon to 5pm shift so I don't have to get up in the morning, and am off every evening to enjoy the parties  (it also leaves you the prime time slot)

Oh, I also want to follow the JB tour this summer and do my shows from the tailgates

Me too :-?

Maybe the fact that my favorite songs were four live versions of Trippin' Billies didn't help my chances. :D

All right, Cincinnati, it is time for this town to get down! Now, you've got Johnny....... Dr. Johnny Fever, and I am burnin' up in here! Whoo! Whoo! We all in critical condition, babies, but you can tell me where it hurts, 'cause I got the healing prescription here from the big 'KRP musical medicine cabinet. Now I am talking about your 50,000 watt intensive care unit, babies! So just sit right down, relax, open your ears real wide and say, "Give it to me straight, Doctor, I can take it!"
[starts Ted Nugent's "Queen of the Forest", then puts on his sunglasses] Oh, I almost forgot, fellow babies...”Booger!"

I'll take the morning shift! I promise to quit drinking at 5am so I can be on the air by 6am!

And my first song every morning will be "What do you do with a drunken sailor...." :D

I sent in my 4 songs too and got back a standard "we'll let you know if we are interested" email. I wonder if the fact that I didn't pick M'ville, CIP, Volacano and WDWGDAS helped me or hurt me?!?!?!?

I too got the promising email and was very excited but got no response after that. Is this about picking the right songs or about being a fan?
If we have not heard back in two weeks should we assume that we have not been chosen?
I have stories to tell. I have been told I have a good voice and a face for radio.
I will hear it this weekend and drown my sorrows and disappointment in rum.
