It all starts tonight!!!! (Man I was missing the Hockey the last couple of days )

Probably because NBC needed to televise the game and Saturday night was the only available time...
But I wonder what the ratings were like for this game.... It had quite a bit of excitement, the kind that sports channels like NBC like to see.....

I blame the sloppy play on the fact that for many players this was really their "first" time in the big dance and that includes BOTH goaltenders. Some of the defense was sloppy, but Keith explained that rather well on the Chicago side (they sometimes get so caught up in the emotions that they start taking chances and lose focus...I'm guessing that Philly had the same problem...)

The condition of the ice wasn't the greatest either because of the warm weather but while both teams alluded to this, neither blamed in on their poor play.

Game 3 tonight. Look for my cousin there. He'll be in Orange. Go....team....

Good game by both teams tonight, both teams with equal giveaways/takeaways (which has to be expected...)
Replay call in OT made up for missed call in regular game so all's good.....

2-1.... cannot go less than 6 anyway
(Hawks need to regroup and win on Friday!....and I know not everyone here shares that sentiment )

After reading about Prongers pure classless act after games 1 & 2, I'm rooting for the Hawks. I expected the Flyers to win last night, and expected a 3-1, 4-2 game.

What did Pronger do?

Eh, hockey going into possibly mid-June is just getting ridonkulous. The NHL really needs to scale it back a bit. Get rid of some of the southern teams,go back to 80 games and best of five for the first round.

He scooped up the game puck each time before anyone else could get to it (justification was so that no Hawks player could collect it as a souvenir...)

But I'm against that clown basically because he hits REALLY dirty as if he's trying to injure (take the hit on Kane where he knocks his helmet off his head...) I was waiting for him to use the stick as well, and get a result ala the movie Youngblood (I'm sure he would have done it if he'd thought about it...)

Same here Bob, it's just Hockey (what I consider the greatest sport on the planet) and sometimes our emotions can get the best of us

Here's looking forward to a "good" game tonight. (Personally IMO the Hawks let their foot off the gas Wednesday, maybe because a couple of them were hurting? Would be nice to see both teams at full speed, similar to the game in March...with a different result that is )

Yeah, Pronger sort of has a history with some questionable hits. He seems one of those guys loved by one team/fan base and hated by all the rest.

I love my Philadelphia relatives but I'm pulling for the Hawks tonight.
