Helping my parents clean out some of their old books and ran across this, it's from 1987. We really don't know where they got it, the only thing I can think of is they got it at a concert, he played Kansas City back then.
Very nice! You have the second one I have ever seen. The first one is the one I have now that was 'permanently borrowed' from the dad of a college roommate years ago. For years, we'vs had it hanging in one of the kids rooms in a frame. We took it with us to Wakiki last year for the Beachcomber show in hope of getting it signed. No luck during or after the show despite being right smack in the front. Later on, when he and Charleston were leaving thru the surf museum in the hotel, my wife managed to get a quick 'JB' on it. I had hoped to get a real nice "Jimmy Buffett" spelled out on there, but oh well, it was better than nothing.
Wow... what a real find. I would love to see more. Would you consider taking and posting more photos of the book? I love the captions, apparently written by Jimmy. I love how he refers to himself as "the artist". LOL

I couldn't get the pictures to turn out great, so I cut them up Page # = the picture, Page# a = the caption for the picture. Hope that works, I'll see if I can scan it when I get back to my place.
Thank you for taking the time to put these pictures together. They are a wonderful resource for those of us trying to get caught up on 40 years of history.
Chicago - June 28, 2014 (bringing 2 Buffett virgins!)
