ATTENTION EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS RESIDENTS!!!!

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Fortunately in Hull our water does not come from the MWRA. But I have a friend coming in from Atlanta today whom I have not seen in years. We were going to go do Havard Yard area. I wonder how many restaurants will be open. Lexington has ordered all of their restaurants closed until further notice.

Cambridge I hear is fine since they don't use the same source as the MWRA.

They're drinking bottled and not showering at Boston College. It's going to get really smelly in those dorms........ :o

I told my keet not to even get the water in her eyes or nose. :-?

Update- http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/23 ... tml?hpt=T2

Looks like it's fixed but it'll be a few more days before showering can resume. :-?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

So the same kids who will party and go swimming in the reservoir (illegally) won't take a shower in the same water when it comes through a pipe...

No, seriously, it's not a good idea to get that in your mouth, eyes, or nose. It just struck me funny....

You can take a shower, and you can wash your clothes, you just can't drink it.

Our company was giving out free water all day. They hauled in a bunch of bottled water so the cafeteria could stay open. And they were telling us after we washed our hands in the lavatory to use a sanitizer as well.

But people are nuts. Apparently there was a small riot at a BJ's over bottled water and the police closed the store. And on TV this morning (WMZ) Robi was outside a Dunkin Donut where people were going in expecting to be able to get coffee as usual and then came out really sore because they couldn't get any. DUH! I kept telling people to be glad they weren't in Haiti or Chili or China. That went over well. Of course it's easy for me to talk. We have water.

I think that Dunkin Donuts was near me.
