Requested Buffett Merchandise

I think I did this a long time ago, but nothing ever materialized. Here's hoping second time is the charm:
Live By The Bay on Blu-Ray and/or DVD. Even better if they could include a cd of it with it. Yeah, many recordings & videos have been done since, but this was the VHS tape that turned me into a phan. I still have the VHS, but haven't owned a VCR in a long time.
Jimmy Does the Movies CD Some songs we can still get (Hoot, Fast Times at Ridgemont High), some songs are no longer available (Arachnaphobia) and some never released (Summer Rental, Contact). I think there are enough soundtrack songs for a complete album here (Urban Cowboy, Rancho Deluxe), and would love to have some of the never-released songs like "Purple People Eater."
Jimmy Buffett figure McFarlane & NECA have done some great plastic sculpts, from rock stars to Pirates of the Caribbean. If a Jimmy-figure ever got made, it would sit dead center on my desk. Make it a Margaritaville Store only product, since it would be the only natural venue to sells these at. And if you really want to get creative, do a Jimmy through the decades box set, aka a 4-figure set with Jimmy from the 70's, 80's, 90's and new Millennium.

Have to admit, I

when I saw the subject line....figuring "don't give him any more ideas".
Having said that.....
I'd buy all three.

I'd love a Live by the Bay DVD. I made my own CD, but a clean one would be better.
I also made my own soundtracks CD with as many of those songs I could collect, plus a few other rarities (Trouble on the Horizon, etc).
I could put my Jimmy Buffett McFarlane figure right next to the Hurley figure from Lost!

All of the soundtrack songs can be found in the treasure box folder on jokelben in the disc 4 folder.

I wish there were more show DVDs available similar to the ones they play on loop at the Margaritaville restaurants. I know the footage is out there, but they don't make it available for the general public.
I would probably buy one for every live show I attended.

Ditto - Would love to have a video of the Margaritaville loop.

The Margaritaville loops sound pretty good. Now my wish list just went up to 4 items. At least all four items would be relatively inexpensive merchandise, as opposed to a certain blender.

If they *really* wanted to make a pile of money, they could tack $5 onto the ticket cost and send a DVD of each show to the people who attended it. The seats might actually be *worth* it then.

Fantastic idea to market it. Heck, even at $10 a piece, I bet they would sell a lot of them. I would pay double that for a DVD of every show I went to.
Good idea my friend.

How 'bout a surfing figure of Jimmy for the dashboards of those of us who'd rather have him than a hula girl?!!

That wouldn't be too hard at all. My wife got me my own Bobblehead for Christmas this year.

I have seen versions on DVD available. They are not "official" so I never bothered to get it since the quality may not be that good. I've always wondered why they've never released it on DVD, along with the Tales From Margaritavision.

I would love to see any live footage put into DVD's!

Bring back a newer Margaritaville PC mouse! One with USB and laser (updated from the PS2 connection and mouse ball)... or a wireless mouse...
they sold a cool mouse with a floating margarita and shaker of salt several yrs ago... I got one and love it but it doesn't fit my current pc stuff.
new PCs use USB now and you never see any mouse balls anymore...

I like the surfing Jimmy dashboard bobble-head idea. I'd get one.
To be on a stamp you have to be dead, so here's hoping a Jimmy stamp won't be around for a long, long time, but it would be pretty cool to see maybe 4 of his songs immortalized as 44 cent posters. Granted they would have to be his 4 biggest that could translate well to artwork (they did a pretty good job turning them into t-shirts), so I'm thinking Margaritaville (duh), Son of a Son of a Sailor, Cheeseburger in Paradise and either Fins or Volcano (I aint touching Why Don't We Get Drunk...).
My desk at work has two cell phone beach holders on it - one from Key West & one from New Orleans - with a wooded treasure chest behind them holding my business cards. Where's that Jimmy figure NECA or McFarlane? I'm thinking some cool accessories for it would be a beautifully designed guitar, a beachball, and maybe a margarita to boot!

Dear Fellow Parrotheads,
I am broke enough as is. Please do not give Jimmy another idea on how to successfully convince me to raid my daughters college fund.
Maybe I should just cut the whole buy the momento part out of the loop and equation and just send him my debit card number and PIN.
