Among the standard Sports Illustrated, Children's World, and Newsweek magazines in the Dr. office waiting room this morning, came across a Food Safety magazine. Had this fun little article about food safety and technology used in the Margaritaville chain. A nice break from the typical Dr. office waiting room reading material.

Some interesting facts:

In 2009, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Cafés served a whopping:
• 1 million Cheeseburgers in Paradise
• 2.7 million margaritas
• 500,000 Land Shark Lagers
• 350,000 Volcano Nachos – or 1.4 million pounds’ worth

(So, can we infer that Parrotheads drink 2.7 margaritas with each Cheeseburger or 1.4 Land Sharks with each Volcano Nacho order?)
