Guy's flip flops input please

Post by thebeachbumm33 »

I can't decide which ones to buy. I've never worn the first pair except to try them on at the local surf shop and they seem more comfortable than the Tommy Bahama's but does anyone have experience with them as far as ruggedness and longevity?

Or should I just go with the old reliable ones.

Tommy Bahama pic won't work for me.

I've heard good things about the Olukais but I think my wife would kill me if I spent that much on flip flops. :) I think with TB you pay for the name more than the quality, honestly.

My old standbys are the Margaritaville ones: http://www.margaritavilleretail.com/lif ... p-292.html

Got them for $10 on clearance somewhere and they're probably the most comfortable flip flops I've ever owned.

Here's one version of M-ville's on Famous on sale for $29.99 (reg. 49.99)

This one looks more like the Olukai, but has a cool marlin emboss:

Have to agree.... I bought a pair of M'ville flip-flops and LOVE them. Before these, I've not had a pair I liked since Junior High (25 years ago) and had about given up trying.

This is my second summer in these (I don't wear them THAT much) and they still look and feel great.

There's an unwritten rule in my house, as long as a purchase is under $250 we don't have to discuss it 8) I ordered the Olukai and the Margaritaville Marlins, thanks for the link Joe :D

I gotta agree with ya krusin1. These are the Margaritaville Zuma flips and they are my favorite. They are very comfortable.
