Greator Philly folks probably thought of the ball player. Not many of that team left around anymore

Thanks Chris - great story. 609 starts with more than 50% complete games - WOW. His career spanned from 1948 to 1966. There's no question he was one of the top pitchers of the 1950's and early 60's but I do think baseball history has left Robin behind for the names like Whitey Ford, Warren Spahn, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, Juan Marichal, Bob Gibson, and Jim Bunning.

OH HOLEY SCHMOLEY, that is EXACTLY who I though of!!! Don't scare an old woman in the middle of the night. She-Robin has long been one of my favorites and I immediately (and mistakenly) thought she had sucummed to the breast cancer. So sorry the sportscaster has passed, however am still amazingly relieved
