New Jokelben Upload

Since Jimmy's concert schedule is a little different this week (Mon-Thurs-Sat?) I added something new to the Jokelben server. Last week I posted a request looking for two Buffett songs recorded live. Those two songs were Middle of the Night and Pre You which I wanted for this new upload. I was able to obtain Middle of the Night but Pre You has not surfaced as of yet.

Rather then wait any longer I have uploaded my latest compilation collection the to the server this afternoon. It is Jimmy's 1992 boxed set Boats, Beaches, Bars and Ballads LIVE. I have compiled 71 of the 72 songs recorded live that were released in the studio boxed set. The live recordings in this compilation are from 1974 to the present with recordings from many years and many different concerts. The live recordings of the songs Take it Back and Christmas in The Caribbean are from two TV appearances by Jimmy.

The compilation also serves as sort of large Jokelben sampler since almost all of the live recordings are from the server. There is text file that lists the recording date of each live song included in the folder

I simply added an external hard drive to system that is pretty much Buffett only. It was cheaper then buying a new computer.

Yeah, I had to add a terabyte awhile back due to obsessive Buffett audio and video collecting.

Thanks for the new cut on B,B,B,B. That's another great new way to liven up and revive past songs. If this one comes out from Jimmy like Encores did, you and SunLover really will need to press Jimmy's people for a "cut".

By any chance, is Christmas In The Caribbean from his Today Show appearance when he was plugging the release of A Salty Piece Of Land?

Yes Christmas in the Caribbean is from the Today Show but I do not know the exact date. Also Take it Back is from a Tonight Show appearance.

I have added the venue, city and state to the track listings. I have changed Lulu's to Week's Bay, AL instead of Pascagoula, MS. I don't know why it is that way in BN's database.
