Just because you are very popular and cool in high school, doesn't mean you stay popular and cool. More often than not, you do NOT.

And conversely, just because you are a geek wallflower no-dating, no-going-to-prom painfully shy person in high school doesn't mean you stay that way. Hardly. Personal experience. Some people are late bloomers. High school is NOT the way to define your life.
The end.

Exactly my thoughts!!!!! ;)

You got that right!!!! The girl that was our Homecoming Queen everybodys dream girl, is now a clerk at Wal-Mart and is bigger then me... I happen to be a Big Boy..

The girl in my class that was shy, did not date. Wore the big glasses is now a VP for a major Wireless Company and could be a model... We have been friends forever and she really enjoys our school get togethers..

All the guy's turned out so far like I thought they would...

I really wish I could play golf and talk to me dad one more time! He left us last November not sure what I would ask to know, but I am sure I could come up with something... I would also love to have a BBQ with MOM she has been gone now almost 15 years...

In his Rod Stewart tribute show, my brother does an awesome version of that song.
He also does one of his own called something like (My mother told me there'd be) Days Like This.

Like some people have said, take advantages of situations when they happen; you may regret that you don't for a long time. This could relate to relationships (like most people, I've got one) or situations (I should have taken that cross-country road trip).

The perfect life isn't always a 9-5 job in the burbs with a wife/husband and 2.5 kids. While I am totally happy with it, I should have done more exploring after high school/college. At least I got into Buffett at an early enough age.

Girls do not have cooties.
There are worse things in life than asking a girl out and being turned down.
Lonely lasts a very long time.

Be yourself. Never ever send in your "representative" on 1st dates, dinner with new friends, etc.....

Wear sunscreen.

Trying to please everyone is futile. Stop it. Now. 8)

The fastest way to wreck any relationship, friendship, is gossip.

Always ask yourself if you'd rather be happy, or right.....(Happy wins out these days....) Being right just doesn't matter.....

Just found this...my Dad gave it to me shortly before he passed away in March.....

Lord, Thou knowest I am growing older. Keep me from becoming talkative and possessed with the idea that I must express myself on every subject.

Release me from the craving to straighten out everyone's affairs.

Keep me from the recital of endless detail. Give me wings to get to the point.

Seal my lips when I am inclined to tell of my aches and pains. They are increasing with the years and my love to speak of them grows sweeter as time goes by.

Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally I may be wrong. Make me thoughtful but not nosy; helpful but not bossy.

With my vast store of wisdom and experience it does seem a pity not to use it all. But Thou knowest, Lord, that I do want a few friends at the end.

Amen

Very nice, Lulu......

Anyone that says high school is the best years of your life is delusional......

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.....

The toes you step on today may be connected to the a$$ you have to kiss tomorrow, so be careful.

Choose your friends wisely and then cherish them

Always have a dog

Anytime something seems overwhelming....ask yourself..."Will this matter ten years from now, five years from now, next week, tomorrow?"

Never wrestle with a pig....you'll get muddy and the pig enjoys it

The truth is always right, but often must be tempered with kindness

Don't buy cheap toilet paper

Smile at strangers

You don't have to go to college to be successful. If you do go to college you don't have to go to the most expensive college around and study round the clock. Being successful at a state school is less stressful for your parents and the rewards are just as good. No matter where you go you get out of it what you put into it.

Vo-tech isn't for stupid people only. Learning a trade and doing it well will lead to a fulfilling life.

Marry someone that you love to talk to, and that makes you laugh!

When life seems overwhelming, step outside of yourself and do something that helps someone else.

This ain't no dress rehearsal.
