Rue McClanahan, the Emmy-winning actress who brought the sexually liberated Southern belle Blanche Devereaux to life on the hit TV series "The Golden Girls," has died. She was 76.

I had no idea she lived in Sag Harbor! I wonder if Jimmy ever took her out on a voyage on the ContinentalDrifterIII, which is often docked in SH.

Golden Girls was one of my all time favorite tv shows. It never failed to make me laugh.
