The "park service green" big old surfin' van that runs on vegetable oil. Check out the Outer Banks journal entries from last year for more info ... sorry, I'm too lazy to do that linky thing

So I know that some of you out there think it is none of our business as to where Jimmy lives or what he does with his homes. But I frankly admit that I am curious. It's been almost a year since the house in Palm Beach was sold. Are the Buffetts still living there? Maybe Jane and Jimmy are living in the Green Tomato. ![battingeyes [smilie=battingeyes.gif]](./images/smilies/battingeyes.gif)

I would be willing to bet that they aren't living under an overpass on I-95...rmissbrook wrote:So I know that some of you out there think it is none of our business as to where Jimmy lives or what he does with his homes. A condo in NYC, a house in Sag Harbor... does he still have the place in Key West?
I suppose, in a pinch, he could always rough it on the Continental Drifter III.....

one in St. Bart's too if I remember right. Like I said, I don't think picking an overpass and camping out is a vital decision for shelter of the Buffett family this week.SeattleParrotHead wrote:A condo in NYC, a house in Sag Harbor... does he still have the place in Key West?

Re: Palm Beach House
the part about his kids going to school there has me confused , as far as i knew they went to prep / private schools in Connecticut.....Jimmy actually sat in a class of someone i knew , he didn't choose that school though.....one maybe 2 went to a school in Sailsbury, and one i believe went to Suffield Academy!!ParrotHeadInThe Making wrote:First of all, good for Jimmy and Jane for their investment in this house. They were able to sell it for four times more than what they paid for it.
Sales of homes are public record, and my thinking is this. Jane and Jimmy are almost done with one aspect of raising their kids and are entering into a new season of their lives. The kids, as far as I know, do not go to school in Palm Beach any longer, so the need for the home there may not be as great as it once was. If they are not there as often as they used to be then sell it. It's just one home that they are parting with. They certainly have other options besides the Long Island home.

Re: Palm Beach House
Delaney graduated from prep school last year so if she went to college she would just be finishing up her freshman year. So Cameron would be the only one still in "high school." However, Jimmy and Jane must still be located somewhere in the Palm Beach area because Jimmy is still keeping planes at the West Palm Beach airport.
