Well, I am ready for the phun to begin. After 6 months of 12-14 hour days and then being scheduled to work 19 days straight, I told my employer to.....well, let's just say we parted ways. Now have a new job lined up with pholks I like and have worked with before who have gone to another agency and are very happy there. I can work as much as I want but have some flexibility as well, with my Vegas days being at the top of the list. Now that that drama is dealt with, I can get back to working on my margarita tiara. Did you know that putting glitter paint on foam craft sheets will make them bow up if there is 100% humidity? I didn't either. Hmmmm....what to do, what to do...At this time, I have a big heavy box sitting on it, trying to flatten it back down. Hoping my trusty glue gun will do the rest. Then on to decorating my shirt. Hint...it goes with the tiara, and I found it.

Oh man - you seem to have the worse luck with employers. Hope it works out for you!!!

Wish I could help with the bow up issue.

The tiara is fixed. As fixed as it's gonna get, anyway. It's a little cattywampus, but not too bad, and I figure no one's gonna notice anyway.

I'm traveling a bunch for work now. Was in Vegas a few weeks ago, and will be there 'working' during the concert and a few days after and then back in Vegas 2 weeks later. Life is rough. Although heading to Memphis tomorrow, not quite the same. Ready to let loose in Vegas though!!!!!
