Bus riders, please add your info to the contact list per the link on the Vegas thread. If you would prefer not to do that, please pm me with your cell phone number and real name. I want to make sure we can reach each other by phone if there is some kind of unavoidable delay.
And everyone please make sure to allow plenty of time to get to the pick up spot before 6pm. Walking between hotels can take a lot longer than you think, the sight lines are very deceptive. This is one bus you don't want to miss!
You're right about finding that staircase. I stayed there last year and all I remember is the hotel check in desk is on your right after you walk through the front part of the casino (coming in from the front) and the staircase is just past the desk. The desk is easy to spot; look for the humongous line of people with luggage. But you can ask any employee to point you to the taxi stand and they'll show you where the staircase is. Then right outside and you're there.Glorfindel7 wrote:I'm staying across the street at the Miragepiratenurse wrote:Just a little reminder as our final countdown nears (yeah, yeah, I know it's still over 4 weeks, but that's close enough for me to start counting).

(After I settle in, I'll probably head over around 5:30 which should get me there by 5:45 or so...)
Also FYI, it's not that easy to find the bus stop once you get into the Flamingo... I think the best bet is to walk toward the sports book then bear left until you find the downstairs stairway in front of reservations???
Yes, it is the Flamingo taxi stand. Have to go inside the hotel, find the check in desk and go downstairs at the staircase next to it, outside directly to taxi stand.ph4ever wrote:I'm not sure where the pick up spot is. From the conversation I gather that it's near/at a taxi stand at the Flamingo near a staircase near the check in?

Jockey Club is still next to Bellagio. City Center was actually built around it.
