Help! Help!! Help!!! Help with Avatar, Please!!!!

I have never had so much trouble posting something in my life. It shouldn't be this difficult. I'm trying to upload an avatar. When I enter the URL address, it tells me that the URL address is invalid. For the love of all that is good in the world, no, in the universe, can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I had trouble too! A moderator saw my post and had me send her the pic I wanted uploaded as my avatar and posted it for me. I am sure they will do the same for you when they see your post

What URL are you using?

I'm trying to keep this simple. I've been using URL addresses of avatars/images in the user gallery. Tell me what to do.

And what you're trying to use should end with .jpg or .gif

Try using this link. What you need to do is put your mouse over the picture, right click, and go to properties to get the correct URL of the actual picture.

Was anxious to see what you finally came up with I had tons of trouble the first time I had to put in an avatar. In fact someone had to lead me through it step by step.
