So......I was lucky enough to have a last minute trip to Mohegan last nite, went to Margaritaville at 8:30, Ilo wnet on stage at 9:30, and there was a 1 1/2 hour wait for seats (Mo was more than slightly disappointed) we left M'ville as the group was starving (long day)....went back to M'ville at 10:30 and was told yup go ahead in...it's open seating MO got FRONT seats!!!!!!! for the last 1/2 hour of Ilo's show......very happy, wish I could have seen the whole show, it was terriffic!!!!!!
After Ilo stopped playing I went right up to the stage and started chatting with Ilo, super nice guy, we spoke for a few moments, told him how I've been listening to him since I first heard him w/Jimmy at Gillette....he was very thankful, and thanked me more than once for listening and coming to the show.....while I was speaking with him a line had formed in back of me for pics and autographs, I went back to my seat and someone from the audience came over to me and asked who that was...was he someone famous that they should know...so I explained Ilo's history to her. It was a fun nite, Thanks Mac for giving me a heads-up

What fun! We too arrived too late and missed his show at Papa's Ice House in Houston before the JB concert, but did get to see the guys up close as they were leaving. His guitar player is a YOUNG 'UN!!! Nice guys.

I am looking forward to the next time I see and/or chat with Ilo, as I really want to find out the name of the song he has been playing before some of the Jimmy shows lately... Maybe he played it Saturday night... I love it... I would guess it's called "Stranger" or "Sweet Secret Stranger" or something like that...

That looks like a different band then the earlier shows at the sandbar and his previous shows at M-Ville. Did he get a new band...

He used to have drums, keyboards, guitar and bass. Now it's just Ilo on guitar, Klem on sax and a new guitarist whose name I don't know.

I was WAY WAY off on the lyrics for Secret Stranger. I got this from ILO.

I can't remember for sure what Ilo's young guitar player's name is. Lyle sticks in my mind for some reason. And he does not look like he is old enough to be out of high school!!!! But I think anyone that saw him at the Sandbar will agree that for one so young he is just terrific. I think we will hear more about him in the future.

Ran into them for a bit in The Woodlands, and I'm thinking he said his name is Brian, but it may have been Kyle. I always get those two names mixed up...knew two brothers named Kyle and Brian.

I think his name is Kyle.

We got to talk with Ilo, Kyle & Klem at Landshark Landings and forgot about asking the name of this song Next time!!! They are a great bunch of guys! Kyle was staying on the same floor as us at the Margaritaville Hotel. I think he is permanently attached to his guitar.
