They are affiliated with the Capitals.

So being from Scranton originally I guess I shouldnt say anything about there rivals the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penquins.. In all seriousness Congrats to da Bears.

The Bears are a great story around here. The team goes back to the 1930's - here's the team web site if you're interested in more.

I hit the website didn't see the Capitals. I'm happy for the Hershey area. As a Pgh fan, I am sad to see the Caps having a strong farm team. The Milton Hershey story was on History International Sunday. It was very interesting. Hershey really is a great family vacation spot.

I am so torn with this one. One the one hand, the state of Pennsylvannia gets ANOTHER championship team. Boo. But, on the other hand, the Hershey team is a great story; great fans and good for the community. The park is alot of fun too.

They are affiliated with the Caps; a bunch of the players have seen ice time with the Caps and a few should make the full time jump to the NHL next year. Hopefully that will translate to success with the parent club.
