this will not stop me from enjoying a great week on the beach. I will try my hardest to enjoy the sounds from the Pink Pony and would rather spend 200 + on food and drinks that day at a bar or Restraunt and support the economy down their.

Tried to do what Jimmy wanted me to do by being a tourist. Extended my vacation made reservation for a hotel and car to be there. Only problem is I don't have tickets thanks to Kroger and ticket scalpers. I need 6 tickets to the event. Had planned on this being the kick-off to my vacation. I suppose if I can't come up with tickets I will cancel those plans and let the scalpers bring in the needed tourism to Gulf Shores.

I suppose if I can't come up with tickets I will cancel those plans and let the scalpers bring in the needed tourism to Gulf Shores.

We plan on going regardless and staying with my cousin who lives in Orange Beach. My question is where does one say you cant be on the beach? Cant stand on the sidewalk? in a parking lot? furthur down the beach? Im just not sure how the city is going to be able to handle this

What a bummer!! We had 7 people here in OKC all sign on at 10 a.m. and no one had any luck.
We are a group of 3 + one keet that are going anyway and we'll see what happens.
If anyone got tickets and is not going to be able to use them we would really appreciate it if you would keep us in mind.

Having not traveled to the coast for quite some time, I had a couple questions: First off, does anyone know if the show is simply standing room, first-come, first-serve? I believe it is. Secondly, what would be your best suggestion on getting to and from the show from Foley? I think it said it was around 7 miles from Gulf Shores, but I'm not sure what that would translate to in terms of a cab fare. If there's anyone else staying in/around Foley who has suggestions/ would like to carpool, let us know! We are planning on getting there early to get some good seats! )
