Even my little bitty hometown paper had an article about this concert (and the ebay-ticket debacle).
Do not resent growing old. Many are denied the privilege.
I found several Gulf concert tickets on Craig's List Nashville. Some were asking $100 per ticket, some were saying "contact me and we can work it out " and some said they had a "hotel room they were not going use that came with free Gulf concert tickets". I flagged all I found so moderators could have a look at them and see if the sales met Craig's List policy.
I posted this idea to another BuffettNews thread:
I just sent this email to all the Radio Margaritaville DJs:
Subject: Gulf Shores concert DVD request
"I know CMT and Radio Margaritaville are going to broadcast "part" of the Gulf Shores concert. I wish we could get a ba'jillion pholks to contact CMT/RM and request they record it all and sell a 2 DVD set ($50? $75? maybe throw in a special t-shirt?) of the concert with proceeds going to the Gulf recovery."
Now to figure out who at CMT to send this too.

Wow!! I'm pretty sure actual driving time from home to Gulf Shores is 10 hours, but we're taking our time and seeing some sights along the way. I'm sure we'll leave some $$ in New Orelans.
