Gonna be at Lulu's on Wednesday!

I don't think I'm gonna try for Thursday at Lulu's. I hear it's only 3 miles to Lulu's from the GULF, but that it will take forever to drive that distance and park.

Heck if it wasn't so hot. Walking would be the ticket. Someone said to find out about the back roads.

Lulu's is only about 3 miles from the venue-but there are NO back roads between the two- except for the Intercoastal waterway; and you can't dock at the venue. Lulu's will be a zoo Thursday. If you manage to get to the general vicinity of the venue I would stay in that area.
The Pink Pony has good drinks and and oyster bar, food, etc . 8) and its RIGHT there at the venue on the beach. You can't miss it, it's painted Pepto-Bismol Pink and on the beach.
The Hangout is large and has food and drinks; but (in my opinion) both are over priced and over rated, and service at the Hangout is somewhat like Math; it SUX!
We have rooms at Phoenix All Suites beside The Pink Pony; booked them last Saturday night the minute we heard Jimmy make the concert announcement on radiomargaritaville. Look for our balcony on the 4th floor- FINS UP!

We are bringing some extra tickets, we decided to give them to the Bartender, Waitress, shop owner or person that helps us smile when we get there... These folks after we leave, it will go back to PLEASE get rid of that freaking OIL...

FOLEY, Ala. — Allen Kruse tenderly kissed his wife goodbye just after sunrise Wednesday and headed to the docks in Gulf Shores, Ala., where his boat, The Rookie, was moored. A charter boat captain for 25 years, Kruse had signed on as a BP contractor to spot oil, deploy boom and eventually learn how to skim oil. His business had come to a screeching halt after the April 20 oil spill. About an hour later, Kruse was dead. He was 55, the father of 11- and 12-year-old boys, Cory and Ryan, and daughter Kelli, 26. About 7 a.m., after a BP training meeting, he climbed into the wheelhouse of his 46-foot charter boat and ended his worry, his frustration and his anger with a single bullet to the head. "Nothing was easy working with BP. Everything was hard, and it consumed him. He wasn't crazy," said his wife, Tracy, 41, sitting outside the couple's home in Foley on Thursday.
