I just love these commercials. They are silly and stupid, but great. Here's the newest one.

I like the smell of the Original Old Spice.
My husband wore it.

I dated a guy in college that wore old spice. He looked similar to Mick Jagger. He was uber uber hot.

Well, the first one ("I'm on a horse") was done in one shot, no cuts. This one obviously has at least one cut/edit in it — how else could he go from barefoot and wearing shorts as he entered the hot tub, to wearing jeans and shoes (or boots) when the tub collapsed to show him on the motorcycle?
But they are still eye-catching, no two ways about it. -"BB"-

My grand-dad wore Old Spice. It smelled good on him. However I found that when men I dated wore it I ran into roadblocks .......something wrong about dating a guy that smells like your grand-dad.

I don't know how successful these commercials have been for Old Spice, but they've certainly worked out well for the guy who stars in them: NBC signed him to a development deal for a new show.

Guess I am old fashioned but I still prefer Old Spice to other scents. When I was at that dating stage of my life every one (male) wore Brut. For whatever reason it seemed like the guys who wore Brut were jerks and the guys who wore Old Spice werent. Just my personal experience.
But I would love these commercials no matter what scent they were for. I give them an extra credit because Mr. Old Spice is in shorts not a Speedo.

Upon further review it looks like the pants and boots might be part of the bike.
Hopefully a "making of" video will come out like with the last one.

It's interesting how a much maligned product in the 70's/80's is now one of the hottest scents out there

Those are pretty good commercials.
When I see them I'm still reminded of the original Old Spice spots with the whistling. Back in those days sailors brought more into port than Old Spice
Is it just me. Or do others have the opinion that too many guys wear
too much "perfume"? I mean you shouldn't stink but sometimes people wear
so much it's like a cheap whorehouse.

Hmmmm....to be honest, I never really thought about. Guess I just figured it was their personal choice.
