Re: Thoughts About The Show in Gulf Shores, Alabama
I have a few friends who live down there, and they are not parrot heads, they don't follow Jimmy, or his music. They all told me how happy they were to have the condo's, restaurants and beaches full of people who do, and from everywhere all over the country. So the impact was felt, and Jimmy did what he set out to do.

Re: Thoughts About The Show in Gulf Shores, Alabama
I dvr'd the CMT rebroadcast and a few songs were edited out (One Paticular Harbour/Where the Boat Leaves From etc)
As well as the talking between songs.
I pretty much knew that would happen though. At least I have the audio version of the show! Thanks again SunLover!

In the end, wasn't that what this concert was all about???????

Re: Thoughts About The Show in Gulf Shores, Alabama
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the show (already went on vacation this spring, 2 kids in college, 2 more close behind, etc.) and we also don't get CMT. Do you think it would work if we bombarded CMT with requests for a DVD of the complete show? I'm just sick about not getting to see it.
BTW - I think 35,000 seems about right for that picture. I have pictures of the 41,000 at Alpine last year and the picture of the beach looked about right for 35.

At least the first time. A lot of songs were cut out of the replays.CTParrothead763 wrote:If it hasn't been said before, Thank you CMT for showing the entire broadcast without commercial interruption!!!!!!!!!!![]()

A side note. I noticed that nobody was allowed to go in the water. That would have been cool to be in the water watching a Buffett show.
