I like what He did with the team as far as getting better "people"
but I think his love affair with the Ballet dancer (Mr Harris)

The firing is a tough one. No question you have to commend Shannon for "getting hold of the program" & stopping all the outlaw crap Cane players were known for (Urban Meyer take notice), but according to the so called "experts" he was pulling in great talent so 7-5 doesn't cut it.
Rumor out their about Gruden taking the job (although Peter King saying no way).
We're gonna have our own coach search here in Michigan soon.

Tough break for Boise State this weekend. I'm not a Bronco booster but hated to see them go down due to missing a chippie field goal.

I went to that game and it was crazy. Our team did not come out for the second half. The only thing I am not happy about is now the haters can spout off, and rip on a team that could very easily have gone to a NC game and given a hell of a run to whoever they played. They don't deserve that at all...

- 11-1, 6-1 record
- Soundly beat Wussconsin, who beat OSU

yet MSU will be left out of any BCS bowl game...........which is exactly what Dan Wetzel said would happen because the BCS is rigged.

I said a month ago that MSU would get jumped by a 2 loss SEC team at some point.....well it happen.


Look at the computer rankings. They are so biased for the SEC and The big 12 is not even funny. What a disgrace

Totally agree with you. MSU got screwed. As far as BSU goes, thats one of the reasons lots of people hate us; we were the thorn in the side of the BCS. Now that we are gone, they can throw TCU a rose bone. If there had been 2 non-AQ's, they "had some splainin" to do...
It is all BS, and all about the $$$$$$$....
While driving back from the game in Reno I heard Smith talking on ESPN about voting. He said that some schools get more votes so they could go to a bowl because they traveled better than another (more $ for the town, businesses etc)--Uh, is that what the votes are for, or is it to vote for wich team is actually better?

You may be right, but it was the Big Ten's decision to use BCS rank as a tiebreak. Look at it this way, it gives you another reason to to hate Michigan. If they had beat OSU, MSU would be in the Rose Bowl.

MSU only beat Wisconsin because they played at home and it was the week after their coach had a heart attack so MSU were on an emotional "win one for the Gipper" high. I have no doubt Wisconsin is a better overall football team...even if only slightly.

And Boise State....ha, ha, ha, ha...I still haven't stopped laughing over their defeat.

Life has been different in Big Orange Country the last couple of years to say the least. We all feel like we have a quality guy now at the helm and the program is improving. Everybody heard the sound bytes from our douche bag coach last year, but since his departure to Cali we've still enjoyed a few sound bytes "southern style" this year. Enjoy.....
