If anyone can look me in the eye and honestly make a case why anyone from the Big East belongs in a BCS game I will buy you a beer. The Automatic bids is the BS in the BSC.

Thank you Oklahoma!
Nebraska didn't deserve to win the Big 12 Championship and then leave.

Re: 2010 NCAA Football
it's funny how the NCAA wants the basketball money from the big east....other then the ACC probably the most dominating conf in basketball top to bottom......my argument for Football then is.....most conf just have maybe 2 greaat teams and the rest just are there....just because the Big East has parity in there Conf they should get punished...UCONN has proven they can play with the big boys....whats wrong with Pitt , West Virginia , even Cinncinnati the last couple of years they played in BCS games and won....Syracuse use to be a dominate program...Louisville was always good...South Florida was ranked 2nd a couple of years ago....other then the SEC....there probably isn't a conf out there were a bottom team can beat the upper 2 teams in a conf...this year the Big 10 had 3 real strong teams......now TCU is joining the Big East....would like to see Central Florida also join......so the Conf is getting stronger.....every year you can almost predict who is going to win a conf. in the Big 10...OSU or Wisconsin , Pac 10...USC or Oregon , Big 12...Neb. Texas or Oklahoma , Sec it's usually(not counting this year) Alabama , LSU , Florida , ACC Florida State , Virginia Tech and sometimes Miami.....so i guess we just have those schools play all the bowl games and just let the other conf. play the season out with no rewardTheSecretsInTheCrust wrote:If anyone can look me in the eye and honestly make a case why anyone from the Big East belongs in a BCS game I will buy you a beer. ESPN must be a big investor in the BCS.
I can't imagine trying to explain to my grandparents ( they've been gone quite some time.....) they can not watch the Rose Bowl on New Years Day becasue it's on cable.

I was thinking of going to the new bowl game at Yankee Stadium, then I came to my senses. December 30 in NY, late afternoon start time. I'd have ice crystal balls by time the game ended.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

And Boise State....ha, ha, ha, ha...I still haven't stopped laughing over their defeat.

MSU -strongest schedule of 3 co champs
- 11-1, 6-1 record
- Soundly beat Wussconsin, who beat OSU
yet MSU will be left out of any BCS bowl game...........which is exactly what Dan Wetzel said would happen because the BCS is rigged.
I said a month ago that MSU would get jumped by a 2 loss SEC team at some point.....well it happen.
Look at the computer rankings. They are so biased for the SEC and The big 12 is not even funny. What a disgrace
I was pulling for Boise in that last game so they could blow this p.o.s. system up and it didnt happen.
Chris spielman I lost all respect for you, Robert Smith please get hit by a train.
You cant be serious. 34-24 thats not a "emotional win" , at least we took the high road and didnt resort to running up the score on a bottom feeding Indiana or Austin Peay or Minny or a Northwestern team without its best player.....oh yeah we didnt play IU this year, that seems to get lost in all the "you didnt play OSU talk".

Enjoy watching Wisconsin play in the Rose Bowl! And I hope nothing is blocking your view from the "high road"...don't be so bitter.
And it's not Wisconsin's fault that our third and fourth string players can't be stopped. Perhaps Indy, Minny and Northwestern should have done a better job of preparing, coaching and motivating their teams. Unless both teams agree to end the game and leave the field how can you expect the third string QB running the football to not run into the end zone for what could perhaps be his only college football moment?
Cheers

Come on, you know the rules. You can't fight scoreboard and MSU has scoreboard. It's an unwinnable argument.

I'll watch the championship game, but don't have much interest in most of the others. If the other big bowls were part of a playoff, I'd watch all of them. Are you listening, BCS?
