Who's leading the division?
The Leaders?
Yeah, who is leading?
Which division?
The Leaders.
I know you want the leaders. In which division?
The one with Iowa in it.
So you don't want the Leaders?
No, I want the leaders.
But you just told me you didn't.

I don't know...third base!

Congratulations to Jimbo Fisher and Coach Stoops for a terrific first season and, so far, the #3 recruiting class in the country!

Go Noles!

We will do fine (as well as your pool), they are still PO'd about the Nevada game and are going to take it out on a team that ducked playing us next year...

Got the job done....but as CAN happen in Bowl games, seemed to be not as focused as a regular season game.
Where did the Utah D go? Down the stretch this season they were.......not........good!

My observations about the current bowl season:
> Way too many games
> Way too many funny spomsor names for the bowls
> Some very odd match-ups (Connecticut vs. Oklahoma?)
> Should a .500 team be playing in a bowl?
> What's with all of the strange start times? (some early on a weekday, others begin at 10 pm ET, and how many 1 pm starts can you have on New Year's Day?)
> Why should the bowl season not end until January 10? (I know, it's about the money, but these kids haven't played in months any way..... :o )

My overall take is I wish the kids still had the passion they did in the regular season in these games. Too many games it seems 1 team is "going through the motions". I know part of it stems from coaches in transition, players in transition (suspensions, arrests, :o leaving early) & the fact that really only 1 game matters (BCS=BS). At least in the old days you could get 2 or 3 games on New Years Day that could have an impact on the mythical National Champion so you'd have to play it out.

Made a quick fly-by of yesterday's Mizzou-Iowa game and it was so entertaining that I stayed up late for the end.

NCAA rebuts critics of Ohio St, Auburn rulings

The NCAA defended its recent rulings in violations cases involving Ohio State and Auburn, saying it does not play favorites or make decisions based on financial considerations.

The NCAA posted a statement on its website Wednesday responding to its critics. It says “the notion that the NCAA is selective with its eligibility decisions and rules enforcement is another myth with no basis in fact.

“Money is not a motivator or factor as to why one school would get a particular decision versus another. Any insinuation that revenue from bowl games in particular would influence NCAA decisions is absurd, because schools and conferences receive that revenue, not the NCAA.”

Sugar Bowl CEO Paul Hoolahan is making no apologies for his role in helping five suspended Ohio State players stay eligible for the Jan. 4 game against Arkansas.

Upon hearing of the possible penalties earlier this month, Hoolahan encouraged OSU officials to push for a delay in the suspension. Ohio State and Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany successfully lobbied the NCAA to move the sanctions of Terrelle Pryor, Dan Herron, Mike Adams, DeVier Posey and Solomon Thomas to the start of the 2011 season.

Don't be surprised if the Bucknuts offer some kind of "mini-suspension" for the Bowl game, but it doesn't get announced until game day or just before kickoff. Thinking maybe 1st quarter or 1st half suspension. Then they'll push to get 1 game knocked off next year.
OSU alum Chris Spielman was talking on the game he broadcasted last night & mentioned this. He said he'd suspend them for the whole game & thinks Buckeye Nation would be okay with it. I think they'd only be okay with it if they won.

Wisconsin just lost the Rose Bowl to a non-AQ team, one who should not have been there because they play nothing buit the sisters of the poor. For all you BCS people, your bs system is done. Your stranglehold on the bowls is done. You have no arguments anymore.
Watching Wisconsin lose has never been more fun for a BSU fan!!!!
Big Ten got smoked in all bowl games up to now.
Roses for TCU, dandelions for Wisconsin.

The Boise States and the TCU's of the world unite!

The Big Ten just looked overmatched in several games today. If anybody should not have an automatic bid to a BCS bowl, maybe it should be them.

Congrats to Texas Christian!
To be fair, Wisconsin is always a pretender so it's not exactly a big shock imo.
#3 is supposed to beat #5 anyway.

Also, I'm not a bible beater by any means but I wish they'd refer to TCU by their full name at least every now and then
(oops I just did it myself  )

Nice job Badgers! Covered the spread and there's no shame in losing by two to a team ranked two spots higher than us in the polls.

As for the rest of the Big Ten...thanks for letting the whole conference down...and as I've stated all along Michigan State what a bunch of pretenders. Lucky all season and finally today their luck run out.

Cheers
Wiscoleeds
PS Oh and Boise State...I'm not sure what bowl they even played in or if they won. I'm guessing they must have played about a week or so ago in a 11:30 EST kickoff game on ESPN the ocho...the Depends Adult Diaper Bowl?
